At least this year, Chet only has to hunt for himself, and can stay warm and dry instead of attending to eggs / eaglets in all conditions. He’ll be stronger next year ❤

I understand everyone wants Akecheta to be alive , healing etc. but he had a lot of blood around his head/face. We don't know just how severe his injuries were or if that was the only injury . We can hope that he survived and is healing but I'm one who also prefers to be realistic. Unless Akecheta shows back up , or is sighted by someone else , we will not know.

Ty for the video. I can clearly see no bands. Well Akecheta did defend territory both he and this eagle left the area. Akecheta…to heal hopefully and to live a long life as an eagle. He was young only 9. Miss him and his personality. At least it wasn’t Makaio that he fought with. Still sad that we may never know if Akecheta survived. Remain hopeful… that he is ..like Cali condor commented there is no reason to think that he didn’t survive, so I’m going with that. Thank you so much for this video and the clarity of no bands. 🦅🦅

If this video is the truth then, how come no one on their live cam won’t tell us this kind of information? I want someone from Thunder’s and Akacheta’s RUclips channel to come forward and let us all know that this is true. If you are throwing out lies just to get attention, you should be ashamed of yourself. WANT REAL CONCRETE TRUTH from those who know AKacheta more than anyone?? Also, gow were you able to get the answers that he’s doing well and flying?
