Ok years later I watched Dragons rising and I’m sure we all have to. Chima is a floating island of a realm called the Wyldness and Lord Ras comes from there and the forbidden five also are from the Wyldness with the shadow dojo although they’re below Chima they’re still in the same realm. It’s been confirmed that there’s a new evil deity that is in the series who is Lord Ras master who he met in the Wyldness so maybe he’s the evil that came from the gorge because the creators of ninjago said there are other dark evil entities and even good spirits and entities in other realms that have the same properties as the Overlord and Ras’ master does seem like the overlord of Chima. Overlord isn’t from Chima though because he’s originated from Ninjago and is the balance of Ninjago great theory though!

well the smog was to slow/stop time, so maybe in his fall through the smog he slowed down so that he wasnt seriously injured. he is also the master of earth and super strong which probably also helps.

I think that Serpentines coming from Chima seems more plausible. Overlord is linked to Ninjago to the point that it would seem weird that he'd come from Chima. I'd be interested to see if LEGO ever brought up some darkness in Chima. Something that represents the darker side of their balance. B)

I can’t even explain how heart breaking this is I grew up with this show I started watching at 5 years old and it’s been my favorite show still to this day and it’s already been over a year and I still can’t believe he’s actually gone I’m just really sad about it but he will forever be remembered ✊🕊

The people who direct Ninjago really don't get enough credit, like the shots and camera angles they employ is incredible! I hope those directors who's names I don't know realize how impactful and amazing their work is. They pushing 3D animation forward and making those who watch Ninjago experience something amazing!

I think that ninjago and chima was one reaml and after the overlord have shown up the reaml have become tow separate reamls

I know it's almost been a year, but...I still can't get over the fact he's gone... he's helped shaped so many childhoods and it's hard to believe that he's actually gone..
