Don't you miss the days when Dragon Age was grim, grimy and unpleasant? I like Veilguard but it never once sold me as being Dragon Age.

Everything about this game is 100x better than Veilguard.

Watching these after the colossal failure that is Veilguard makes me wish the old BioWare team would band together and make a game again.

Only two DA I'll ever recognize is DA:O and DA:I the rest could fall into the void and never be spoken of

Man. Bioware really likes to "take inspiration" huh. 2nd trailer is just Arthas having killed his dad and the crown falling down the stairs, 3rd trailer is Grommash or Garrosh killing Mannoroth and lastly, Veilguard is just Avengers.

You know, i never saw these trailers before playing Origins. Got to it something like 10 years after it was released. These cinematics have made me realize that the Warden is basically a dark fantasy Doom Guy.

In memory of the fallen company that is BioWare, we do not recognise veilguard as dragon age at all.

DAI had that dark gritty feel to it, some of the locations showed that off. FFS I can't believe we got wokeguard as the next DA title. Never going to do a playthrough of DA ever again, not unless we get a remastered of the first 3 + all the DLC.

I highly doubt we'll see a DAO. DA2, DAI Remastered & bundled together like MELE. It would be the only way to save the DA franchise.

I come here to remember the prime of Dragon Age. That's the dragon age we love, the dragon age we want! Dark fantasy, strong, choices with consequences, sacrifice. In peace vigilant, In wars victory, In death Sacrifice. Grey warden army for ever! I'm so so so angry for what they have done to Dragon age (even if it's not the real bioware). It's the first time that i'm really so angry about a game destroyed like that.

After seeing this, i just realised how broken bioweird has become...😢

It's really funny to me that so many people are complaining that they "miss" this Dragon Age, when literally the trailers are nothing like the actual games. They're playing Marilyn Manson while fighting Darkspawn like it's Dynasty Warriors. C'mon guys, the trailers have never painted an accurate picture of the games.

Veilguard looks to be a letdown comparing to these, sad that they went backwards after 10 years, these games were so fun and BA

I swear man, the early bioshock trailers give me such a strange vibe, but it's not a bad vibe, it makes me want to desperately play the first game again, God what I wouldn't give to have a mod for the first game to make it look like these trailers

The combat and graphic are not as good looking like in the trailer, but the story and the characters…. Oh God. DA:O and DA2 are must play y’all. As for inquisition, it’s Ok to me, but I can’t do all the side quests since the map is pretty empty and the they’re pretty bland compare to its predecessors.

No more cinematics or movies like this is a waste of life

The Veilguard cinematic trailer was weird, but I don’t think people can really compare it to these ones. None of these trailers 100% accurately convey the tone of their games. In fact they’re not even trying to do the same thing the DATV trailer tried to do. The only thing these trailers and the new one have in common is that they’re cinematic.

Finding yourself back here after after 15 years, not excited about the new Dragon Age game at all..

Dragon Age's tradition of the trailers being nothing like the actual game continues. This trailer looks infinitely better than DA: Origins' actual gameplay/cutscenes did lol

I Hope Veilguard does well But I don't think it will be better then Dragon age inquisition to be Completely honest

These trailers are beautiful in their own rights. Definitely some really great moments! Really enjoyable to see the teamwork in the trailers too. There is still hope for DA4 I think there will be a lot of lore and character development and choices and I'm excited for factions and whatever else they throw at us after 10 years! Stay positive, we will see so many places in northern Tevinter that we didn't have a chance at before! We're in this together

And here we are folks, look at these trailers and compare to the horror that is Veilguard, if you doubt me, take a look at the gameplay for Veilguard too. Thank you Dragon Age, you were brilliant once. RIP.

So, watching all of these trailers in sequence and then the Veilguard one there is a very distinct tonal shift, to the trailers. DAO, 2, and DAI all came out in about 5 years of each other and it's been 10 years since DAI, so I think the trailer was aimed at marketing Veilguard to a new audience who are used to a different visual style, like how the Pokémon anime's style changed over 15 years. That said I can absolutely see why people who loved the first three games are worried/putoff/etc by the Veilguard trailer, it looks like Fortnite. BUT, having gone and watched gameplay footage of it and comparing to the other three, visually at least it looks fine, like a mix of 2 and Inquisition. The gameplay itself though is what worries me as it's moved even further from CRPG to ARPG, one of the biggest complaints about 2.

From this peak of greatness and epicness spirals down to that hot mess of a game called Veilguard.

Broooo even Inquisition had BADASS trailers whats wrong with the new one ?! i mean the gameplay is fine but the trailer WAS SOOO BAD!!
