I cant tell if lucifer is being earnest here or just as manipulative as he always is. But lets say he was being sincere and both he and Michael really did "step off the chess board". Then what? This is what made Team Freewill so great on Supernatural. Molotoving Michael and cramming Lucifer back into the pit has got to be one of the best endings to a season. Sometimes I wish it ended here or after Season 10. I thought Amara being God's sister was kinda silly, but would've loved if The Darkness had been the demiurge from Gnosticism instead, posing as a woman to fool Dean.

why does everyone think Adam was in the cage? Even the creator of the show got on this. Meanwhile Adam died when Cas blew up Michael with holy fire. The vessel was destroyed and Adam should have gone to haven. Then Michael restored the vessel but without a soul as Cas healed his vessel but Jimmy went to heaven as soon as he got fatal injuries.
