I can say for certain, whilst aiming for the legs is a good strategy quite often, there is no way to kill the Katana Boss that quickly, regardless of the weapon, in the current version of the game - unless you're using a power like Berserk.

@@emerson29810 If it's the katana-boss guy, as a normal brawler it's not possible I promise ':D The machete deals 0.85 units of damage at a maximum per hit, and the Katana Boss has 15 health.

@@emerson29810 although having said all of that, going for the legs is genuinely still a great strategy, in the scenarios there are about four enemies to whom that doesn’t work so well: Katana Boss, Big Prisoner, Big Cowboy, and Blackbeard.

Absolutely! It’s a good question because in some cases it’s the best way to kill bosses. Only really Katana Boss and Blackbeard benefit from that technique in the scenarios, because (whilst you can technically kill Blackbeard in one hit) it’s not easy to kill them quickly, unlike the other bosses. With Blackbeard your best choice is any tankard or bottle, or dagger if you’re willing to spare a second longer, and throw it at him from behind whilst grabbing the items on his table for the next throw, all in all with the ham especially this is usually enough to kill him (plus the chair). Then Katana Boss is a bit different, in his office there is a large pile of money and if you can get behind him, you can pick the money stacks up ‘through’ him and instantly throw them, they all do a little bit of damage so spam throwing works well. Then before or after using the money depending on how quickly the other AI react or whether you’re going for a fast time (usually), you want to use the nunchucks and filet knife in the same office room, possibly plus the cleaver knife in the storage room below his office. Both of the knives will deal full damage if you throw them as his feet (whilst looking down) then picking them up again for another spam throw; the filet knife especially you need to be looking straight down to retrieve it after each throw and not have it fly off somewhere else. The Katana Boss’ chair can interfere with everything, so hopefully it stays out of the way when you’re trying to do spam throws haha.

I can't check again right now, but it would've been either 0.1.0 or 0.3.2 depending on whether the older one worked or not. Both of those are 2015 versions.

That's very kind, although 1:10 is absolutely nothing to turn your head away at haha, if you ever want to appear on legitimate leaderboards we have some on speedrun.com, a 1:10 would probably be the 5th best :)

That's awesome to hear, one of the hardest platinum trophies I've seen even as a seasoned player, so as far as I'm concerned that's a huge achievement ;)

One modification you can do on the console with the scenario achievements is position the weapons you need before fighting anyone, because the timer only starts on combat, it’s a bit tedious if you’re trying to break records but to get the achievement once it might be quite useful.

I’m struggling as well, I can almost consistently get a similar time to yours. I’m putting it up to the fact we have to use controllers since i occasionally miss multiple attacks and it wastes a bunch of yime

@ console is harder overall in other ways sadly, as I’m sure you’ve noticed, due to hardware limitations the enemies spawn in gradually rather than being there all at once, so the impact of stuff like Shockwaves and grouping is worse, not by much but at less than break-neck pace it’s very noticeable.

Honestly I think why I was only getting 4 minutes is because I used the shockwaves where you said to in the video instead of where the groups of people were in my run after that I feel like I had more people come to the kitchen and it made it easier

Fun Fact: OFF Apparently is coming to Steam. There is a store page stating it will be released within next year. Kinda surprising, as the game was originally made in 2008. This one seem to have some slight changes in comparison to the original.

I think when I started out I imagined I would need so many clips that most runners would be in there but towards the end saw that it was fewer than expected and I also decided to add RUclipsrs in as well as speed runners, then just didn’t end up removing earlier runner clips I gathered - but there’s nothing wrong with your runs and I honestly don’t think I would change those ones for a different user for any particular reason, think it all worked fairly well. Thanks very much for the compliment 😊

No worries - the art style is from the Obama 'Hope' poster, with red, dark blue, light blue, and some tan and tan crossed with blue lines. I made it myself using a photo of a cat which looked quite like my own cat, and a photoshop tutorial. Sadly wasn't able to get a photo of my cat for some time which I thought would work well.
