Movement to music for the older person
Here I am doing some movements to music
They are rhythmic and flowing
Some are improvised Tai Chi movements, and some are just movements
This is in my New Zealand Summer garden
The music is from the soundtrack
"Moonlight drawn by clouds"

Gorgeous and I love it so much thanks for sharing this with me
I liked that it had no talking! You can just hear the birds and the needle going in, lovely. It sounded like a tui bird sometimes(I'm from nz)
Thank you so much for sharing Marie! What gauge needle and shape are you using please?
I so enjoyed this video! I don't know how you avoided stabbing yourself! I have t felted anything yet but will be ordering my supplies this week. Thank you for a very peaceful morning.
Do you have a tutorial on how the lips/ nose of a waldorf doll is shaped through needle felting, please?
Hi, I do not add lips or nose when needle felting faces, but one could build up the wool layers to create them. cheers Marie
Besides, that's the waldorf philosophy all about: allowing tve children by the few details on a doll, to imaginate her expressions and face...
I am so curious how you avoid stabbing yourself with that needle?! LOL! I am sure to knick myself at least a couple times!
Hi Amy, well every now and then I do stab myself, but over the years I have gotten quicker and better, so hardly ever do so now. cheers Marie
Sorry but i prefer videos with speaking. To know what kind of wool, what length it is and the size needle used. And some of the time your hands are out of the cameras view. Quite dangerous to poke while holding the item in the air but thats just me as i would stab myself. Obviously you dont fear this. Good luck. Love the bird.
Marlene Jones My very first project, my bird id so terribly lumpy. Do you poke needles longways towards the head and tail to make ot smoother????. How do you finish the tail???
Your art work is beautiful and magical. I especially like the second one from the left. The girl with the mushroom. Do you have an Etsy shop? -Hana
Hi Hana, Yes I do. www.etsy.com/people/softearthart?ref=hdr_user_menu Or you can email me. Cheers Marie
I just checked it out! Beautiful :)
+Pepper and Pine Thanks.
So pretty and inspiring! Love it when I find other Waldorf inspired handicrafts :) -Hana
+Pepper and Pine Thanks Hana, cheers Marie.
Thank you very much - another lovely video. I wish I had one of those large foam blocks you are using...... Only seen small ones and one needs to be able to lay out the wool.
I buy my foam pad from Spotlight. It actually is a foam chair pad.
Thanks Marie, will check out on Saturday..... and we have a large foam shop here in Hobart too. :)
Brilliant and thank you. Is that shakuhachi(s) playing in the music?
Thanks a lot .I think it is.
Gorgeous.
