Ahh . . . the Little Flower! Such an inspiration that the way up really is the way down.
I would ask anyone reading this to pray with me, invoking Ss. Anthony of Padua and Jude Thaddeus, please, for the screw holding a crucifix that doubles as a relic holder fell off in transit yesterday, and the soil from the Roman Catacombs fell out and became lost with the screw. The beads on this rosary are made of Spina Christi and dated to the 1910s. My heart sank and I broke out in a sweat as I brightened an iPhone flashlight, retracing my steps searching for it, but to no avail. I began to feel very selfish, superstitious and disturbed by it all, really. It’s moments like these that reinforce the notion, what a monstrous creature I am, a vile worm. To sink so low as to place such attachment on an object and to which right did I have to seeth with anger at its newly known absence? I’m sorry I made Jesus Christ watch me act like this.
