The great Johnny Maestro!! Bravo!!!
mss you Harry !!!!!
love you Harry
Excellent thanks for Sharing
marvellous
One of the greatest singers ever you are missed
Great guys
Found out about this video from "Hey Long Island, Do You Remember ..." I am certain I saw the ST4 at PJ's in Farmingdale before Tiger's Tale. I loved the band and followed them there. It wasn't mentioned in the video so I am hoping someone else will confirm that it is true. Glad they had continued success.
Lived at the Bijou. Loved it
Used to see them play at the Brooklyn club the Brown Derby! Loved them
When I was in the ARMY my roommate would sometimes come in from His Shift doing an Imitation of Johnny Maestro Singing Their Big HIT with BROOKLYN BRIDGE : He was from Jersey .
Wasn't there a female performer at keyboards in the original group?
I saw that on the old Ed Sullivan show when they performed The worst that could happen
Loved going there and dancing around '67, '68.......great music......Helen Marx-Seymour
I was lucky enough to have seen Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge one time about 2009. I wish I had seen them more. They really are a special group.
Greatest lead ever.
This guy is an excellent singer. But I don't like it when a legend is replaced. Just move on. Don't use the name of the people that had the hits. Make your own way.
Greatest group
I won't say this is a horrible put together band, but I just can't accept someone trying to fill the shoes of an icon like Johnny Maestro
Gone to soon mr maestro of singing.
I just found this and boy did memories return! Followed & danced to them way back when. I'm pretty sure it was at Rum Bottoms; waiting for them to come on there was a guy opening on a piano that my best friend & I commented was "pretty good" ; but when's ST4 coming on? Lol pretty sure it was Billy Joel! Thanks for the memories; all the clubs we got to go to following them including Bijou; the great music with fantastic harmonies;& helping me remember the strong; vital younger woman I was now moving a bit more slowly!💕
Was this the club run by Ray Monahan? Great memories.
RIP Johnny Maestro.
JM he's one of a kind omg there's no other and his band God bless
I feel bad that I did not fully appreciate them and do so now only after John, Les and Fred have passed away. I was lucky to have seen them in person about 2009 in Montville, NJ on July 4rth. I thought they were fantastic back then when I saw them. I loved the oldies songs that they sang but I did not realize that Johnny Maestro was the original singer of those songs. I thought he was just covering the songs. They were really great in person and seemed like really nice people. They clearly loved and enjoyed what they did and with their talent, that's how they got so good.
That’s a reason I love You Tube-you can end up in some delightful new music Universes!
I was the Roadie and Light man for ST4 and the Bijou. A lot of great times. I used to get yelled at for flashing the lights on the xylophone player because it would make the keys jump around. Hello to Bob D. and Ken. Hey Joe Dominco try to get in touch. Fun motor biking with you. Scott
Harry and his wife. Love to listen this kind of song over and over again.
I can not believe Johnny is not in the Hall of fame we must get him in
Great place
fun band to hear. I liked how they would start the night with a rock medley keyboard player would add a little James Gang riff and later go from Roundabout by Yes to Love machine. I saw Tommy Juliano ( sax) about 20 years ago at a gig :)
Also at PJ's in Farmingdale in1966
Thank you for confirming that they played there. It wasn't mentioned in their anthology video but I was at PJ's often and that is where I first heard the ST4. They were a special part of my wife and my college years.
That was where I first met my wife. So also very special memories for us.
Joey, I always loved the way u did this piece!!!!!! It really shows the power and quality of your voice!!!! God bless cuz❤️❤️💕
You really had a golden voice Harry. I can't forget that once I am your caregiver. So thankful for your sister Lyn too for being so nice to me.
I miss johnny maestro nobody have his voice sorry . 😢😢
My cousin vinny
I was at tigers tail back in the day.Fun times. I remember the xke jag in parking lot!
Joe "Bean" Esposito is a great singer...was 65 at this show in 2013 and still sounding great!
These videos of the ST4 really bring back memories. My friends and I spent every Monday night at the Tigers Tail in the summer of '68, and went there whenever we knew the ST4 would be playing. Their Top 40 renditions were perfect, and great to dance to. Always wondered what happened to them. I'm glad they had so much success.
Nice work H 👍🎼🎶
Beautiful 👍❤️
GREAT cover of Stevie Winwood's signature song.......
