@TheTransitTopian I forget exactly what bus, but my first morning shift, I did 3 trips on the 89, and a 282. My last shift, I did a 97 round trip, 15 from Gatineau to Blair, 35 round trip, and a 38 round trip. All artics

@ Wow. I thought OC drivers would do similar routes like 170/171 or 32/34. This makes me want to be a driver even more.

@ It’s a mix. My schedule changes in 2 weeks, and I’m doing a round trip on the 99 in the morning. Go home, then come back for the second half of my split shift, and do 4 trips on the 15, and a round trip on the 35. It’s fun to have a mixed variety.

@TheTransitTopian Merry Christmas to you too! I haven’t done those routes in a while, so I wouldn’t know. But I talked to some operators, who said that it goes all the way to Limebank Station now!

@alexplaysii I’m on it usually on the weekends. During the week it’s usually the more senior operators that were there for a long time.

@TheTransitTopian I’m mainly out of Industrial and St Laurent garages. I love Barrhaven routes though! I’m usually in Barrhaven, Downtown and Orleans.

@@alricleduc157 If you have a paper transfer, you can board with your Proof of Payment through the rear doors on any articulated, or double decker bus at OC Transpo. Fare Inspectors can ask you to present your transfer at any given time.

I prefer New Flyers more. You’ve got a point. But the braking is actually smoother on the Novas I find.

Our New Flyer fleet is older, while Novas are newer. Novas also have a bit wider doors, and for us drivers, I’m more of a New Flyer fan.

We have a switch in the front that controls everything. One then back, unlocks the doors, so that passengers can push the bar to open. We can also manually open the rear and front doors.

That’s why it’s such a joy to drive it. I reminisce of the old 95 days. 😢

I drove this bus today, and I don’t remember seeing you guys at Baseline. I would’ve happily stopped, unless I was already pulled away from the stop. Sorry if I missed you dude 😢 You sure you got the right bus?
