Big yikes

I would highly recommend this book to 7-8-year old readers. Enid Blyton is such a well-known author and one of the most popular children’s authors to put pen to paper. This book is adventurous, magical, and hilarious. The premise of this book conveys the transportive power books have and their ability to take us to new lands and have us home in time for dinner.

Matilda 'Difficulty'

I enjoyed this book when I was younger. As an adult, I still enjoy this book. It is still popular with children today and I would recommend it to 7-8- year olds. It is funny, magical and encourages reading. After all, there is power in a book.

Peter Pan is a classic children’s book. I love the elements of magic and fantasy it has. This is Disney Classics Edition is great for readers who are less confident or enjoy books without too many words.

When I was younger, I found the tale of Alice in Wonderland slightly scary at times in its nonsensical nature. I did, however, enjoy the strange characters and watched the Disney film multiple times. As an adult, I wish I had read the book when I was younger.
