I hope someone can help. If I want to work with categorial variables, such us Which word people use for Sandwich (a: hoagie, b: sub, c: sandwich) and I want my independent variables to be Location, age, and educational level... Can I still run a linear regression?

    • @reubenfletcher-louis3343

No because the order of a b and c is not fixed therefore the direction of any relationship relies on the order you choose
