INSIDE TRIP (2019)

Un viaggio dentro me stesso alla ricerca delle mie origini, oltre le parole che non riesco a pronunciare, gli occhi che non riescono davvero a guardare chi io sono. A journey inside myself in search of my origins, beyond the words that I can't pronounce, my eyes that really can't look at who I am.

Is Thomas sing it is that his voice or not ?
Massa.
I would love to hear Paul Mccarntey tell this story and say how accurate or inaccurate this is. Theres no way this is particularly actuate with how heavily scripted they are but still
3:31 he got that little mannerism pretty spot on Theres interviews from the early days where Paul sort of rubs the corner of his mouth from the Beatles days and theres interviews from nowadays where he does the same thing.
I saw this with my mom when it just came out. I actually had to go twice but they cancelled it the first time due to a holiday. I'm the same age as the actors playing John and Paul and I was a diehard John Lennon fan. The film was eyeopening but I still remember it with fondness and the line "Because he was saving you for John Lennon" still makes me smile.
1:24 THE Photograph.
I'm curious. Both this movie and "In his Life" depict the first meeting between John and Paul as somewhat antagonistic at first. John is self-assured, and making fun of Paul, until Paul plays "Twenty Flight Rock," at which point John realizes Paul is really gifted, seeing him in a completely different light. I wonder if this is anything the biographers have actually touched upon, or if it's just creative license, based on the public perception in later years, with John seen as the cocky irreverent one, and Paul seen as the more reserved and polite one.
Mimi was stunning, at least in the movie
O dia que mudou a música
As Lennon told biographer Hunter Davies in 1968, “I’d been kingpin up to then. Now, I thought, if I take him on, what will happen? It went through my head that I’d have to to keep him in line if I let him join. But he was good, so he was worth having. He also looked like Elvis. I dug him.”
In his tribute song to John, 'Here Today' Paul says, "What about the time we met, well I suppose that you could say that we were playing hard to get" This refers to the fact John didn't ask Paul to join the group right away. He was a bit intimidated by how good Paul was. And after all, John was the leader and the star and singer up to that point. So he waited a while and told his friend Pete Shotten and Ivan Vaughn to ask Paul to join. This was typical John. This way HE didn't have to do it face to face to avoid embarrassment if Paul said no. Paul played hard to get because when asked by Pete to join he told him he'd like to think on it for a bit. Both were playing hard to get even though Paul really wanted to join right away and John really wanted him right away, they both made each other wait. Another line in Paul's tribute song 'Here Today" to John, was "Remember the night we cried because there wasn't any reason left to keep it all inside". This was when they were both in a hotel room in a rain storm and got drunk and started telling each other how much they love each other. This never happened before. John got very drunk and started crying and so did Paul. It was the fact John and Paul were thinking about their mother's that had died very young in their lives. That was the bond between them. And that night they both let the pain out in tears. Very very unlike John and Paul to show that much emotion.

Bromance ❤️
What is the name of this movie ?
Nowhere boy
What's the song?
Stuff that I'm sure if true in this movie: That Paul could smell beer on John's breath when they met. That Paul knew the song John and the Quarrymen performed and that they got nearly all the music and lyrics wrong but still had something about them. That John and the rest of the Quarrymen were impressed at Paul's ability to play a right-handed guitar left handed. That Paul not only got every note and lyric right but also sung it in a flawless American accent. That Paul's dad thought John was a no good drop out and that John's Aunt Mimi wasn't too keen on having someone from council housing coming over
Do I have the completely wrong idea, or was Paul the only one there who'd actually had any guitar lessons?
Lol, all the Beatles tried music lessons at some point and they all HATED it, each quitting not long after starting.
I loved that Actor who played Paul. This movie delved more into Paul and John's relationship.
Good movie. I just had to keep rewinding because of the British accents 🇺🇸 lol. The movie maker had them speaking really fast too I thought.
Imagine if that day never happened… what would the world would be without what happened on the afternoon of july 6th, 1957 at the garden fete of St Peter’s Church in Woolton, Liverpool…

I was in St Peter`s church hall in Woolton whilst on my first visit to Liverpool in August and there is a beautiful painting on the wall depicting John and Paul`s introduction and the actual spot where they met is marked by markers bearing their initials.
