I filled an entire 2 liter pitcher, and drank an extremely nutrient dense, fiber filled, energizing, and hydrating MEAL that I got to enjoy for three days :) I also titled this “fridge dump” which implies I needed to get rid of some things. 🤷🏻‍♀️ You can either pay the farmer now, or you can pay the doctor later. A simple Google search could answer all of your questions. But no, deer do not reject their young due to human scent. The biggest danger with touching a fawn is leaving your scent on it for predators to pick up when the mother leaves it to forage. But I handled the baby for less than 30 seconds, he reunited with its mother, and is now a full-grown buck.

And i thought that what you did was very nice and the fawn is soo cute and im sure that was the best possible outcome for both of them. I adore deer they are my favorite animal and my closest encounter is seeing them from 10 meters away. I just try to ask a question that was rolling around in my brain for quite some time.

I put him on that side of the fence because my neighbor has an opening in the back of hers. The mother and other sibling come through the fence to greet him about 12 seconds after my video ends. 👍🏻

@@WanderingWildThangs ah that’s great to know. Thanks for the feedback. Baby deer are incredible animals…really incredible. The last time I deer hunted right as dawn was creeping in a baby woke up and walked out of its bed. It saw me sitting on the ground at the base of a tree and literally walked right up to me and sniffed my boot. Then walked away. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. That was the last hunt I ever went on. Every time I even thought about going hunting again I would see that fawn walking up and sniffing my boot. Sold my gun and all my hunting gear. Glad the little fellow got to its mom.
