Hugs my friend. I hear you. I'm trying to keep things a bit more simple too. I purchased a new tree too Candis! I found it at Walmart for $85 and it is not the best lol, but it will do. She's tallish and skinny as not to take up too much room that I don't have. I've decorated one bedroom kind of full and am leaving it at that because what is done has to be undone. It is the most wonderful time of the year but the most challenging too. Hope to see your tree if you get time to share 🌲♥️♥️♥️

I totally get wanting to keep it simple. I think I have set the bar pretty high with becoming Christmas Mama 🤣🤣 Everyone expects over the top decor.🥴 I find that if I choose themes (certain colors or characters), it prevents me from putting out EVERYTHING 😊. And I use a lot of thrift finds and handmade items. Merry Christmas!!!!!

You learnt this young, I never stopped buying Christmas decorations until I was 65. It’s been my favorite thing to do my whole adult life and it’s just added and added more every year. I’ve filled my house, my 3 children’s houses are filled with what I have given them, now I’m giving away to my grandchildren and I still have 15 totes filled 🤔🤔 and I stopped buying 2 years ago. I'm right there with you! I've been a Christmas junkie all my adult life & here it is Dec 7th and I still haven't decorated which is also stressing me out- I'm sitting here looking at a living room full of bins. Sometimes I would just like to put out a nativity and call it a day. And I've reached a saturation point as to how many decorations I can actually display so nowadays I only look but never buy which kinda makes me sad...

I got a dollhouse kit from my parents for Christmas in 1976, the year I graduated from high school. It took a long time to build and furnish it. I still have it with all of the furniture and treasure it!

I love the radios from the 60s. I bought a powder blue one for my husband to replace one that I broke when I tripped over the cord😢. I can see why they are giving a free iron with purchace, it looks like they have a TON of them! Fun video, thank you, Candace!😊
