I dont know whether takahashi could not think of a good ending or whether she didnt want it to end but ranma has a very unsatisfying end. She did it better with urusei yatsura, where ataru kind of "proposed" without breaking character and viewers understood that those two would go on to "live happily ever after" (which is what everyone is looking for in these types of series). It wasnt really that hard honestly. Even if she had just inserted a couple lines after the last episode, where she described the fates of the characters like "ranma and akane lived a happy life as a couple, dr. tofu married Kasumi and they had lots of children" etc. it would have brought conclusion without really ruining anything. Because lets face it! this is not a m shyamalan type of series where people want something unexpected! they already know who is gonna end up with who and just want to at least hear it "officially". Oh well, it is a great anime series nonetheless!

My two favorite animes are Ranma 1/2 and One Piece, followed by Saiki K and Schol Rumble. One Piece being number one and than Ranma 1/2. I honestly love the story in ranma and also the comedy. Especially the guide. XD
