My favorite stretch on the BMT Broadway line. It's a nice express sprint from Union Square to 34th st. Always has been, too. I'm surprised that they never redid the express tracks so that the ties are embedded in concrete, especially since they were not used for so many years during the Manhattan Bridge closure.

Edit: As I watch this video, I'm convinced the writers of South Park went to that exact station (90th st-Elmhurst) and recorded the 7 Express train's sound effects to use in the episode where people were getting run over by Trains as they were posing for pics on the tracks 🤣.

Great vid.... These trains are so short compared to the LIRR's 10 or 12 cars .... I guess less ridership ! I've always wanted to know what the apparatus is on the top of the red cars ? We don't have that on the LIRR. And the condition of the M3's are in much better condition here !
