TRIBUNAL | A Disco Elysium Animatic
Contains spoilers for Disco Elysium, bright colours/some mild flickering, abstracted blood and mild horror.
Had this one in the works for a month or so now! I couldn't just go and make something inspired by Aleksander Rostov or Disco Elysium without having a certain level of expressive incoherency, but I tried my best to follow the narrative of the best outcome of this fight. If it's too abstract or the line of action isn't clear, I hope it at least makes you feel or think something.
Thanks to my good friend for the idea to make ancient reptilian brain look like a Discosaurus, a misidentified Elasmosaurus, which I later found out one specimen was discovered by a man named 'Edward Drinker C...

After a few times watching this, I realized that Yzma getting patted on the head by her father, is right on beat as she's sings the word "mor-tic-ian". it's a little thing, not even sure if it was intended by SaveDisk, but it's nice, i love when visuals match with music/vocals like this.
That last shot is so cool I still haven't recovered from it

This is absolutely gorgeous! The eye through the scope, the beautiful imagery of the flames that melds into the skid lines on the water behind Joyce Messier's boat, everything about this is just inspiring!
