I just beaten DQ 1 on the Super Famicom version for the 2nd time today. Worth it this time around because of the fan translation. Played the switch version but I'd still prefer this one IMO. I think the 16-bit aesthetic is just perfect for the series.

Probably the most OP when you have total of 6 master commands and HP / MP absorb and 3 Final attacks plus 3 phoenix. Took days of grinding.
