It’s upsetting to hear that the public education system has a tough time suiting children with special education and/or special needs. I strongly believe school isn’t a place which is for educational purposes, but for social emotional learning that is tide into education to be successful. I was once a student in full special education then went to Renton Academy for Special Education. From both these school they’ve taught me school doesn’t have to be hard, school is better than it is perceived. School can be a great learning opportunity. But they give very little social interaction time. We have new technology that comes out everywhere and everything around is changing a little bit more. If everyone can open their eyes for one moment and look at what we have in our homes, how nice technology has evolved etc. then look Inside of a classroom and the way the classroom is taught. Hasn’t changed. Child has a similar belief as I do. School isn’t just a place for educational purposes, but school shall be a place of social interactions to give life long success. I had a teacher a long time ago and she tied in the curriculum with social emotional learning. I will forever love that!

This is Ian Zanelli I was a student and I've had some time to think. Ever since I left child I have to admit I am missing some people. You guys tried your best what you thought was right for me and I completely slapped it back in your face. The day when the thing happened with the screw driver and my Mom told me I was being suspended for three days I think it was. My mom goes to the meeting and I'm at home thinking I really want to go back I regret the thing I did but when my Mom told be I was being expelled, I went to a different world. I stood there questioning," are you serious?" I was so embarrassed, ashamed, I was depressed. My mom tried to get me into this school right above child. When my mom got the email saying I've been accepted she starting crying like her mother died and we thought she died to be honest. I was really excited finally being able to go back to school. Every time I go in the field at school I walk over to the fence and I can see child. I can see the place where I had my blow outs. Over by the staff entrance. There is so much history at that school and if someone where to screem my name I bet a bunch of teachers would come out of the classrooms running. I still think of you guys and Prob always will. People can hate for the thing I'm about to say but... I think it was a good thing I was expelled. Because I'm getting to experience school like I have never before. I haven't been blowing out. I've only had a few blow outs at the new school. I recently found out I've been accepted in to a regular Middle School. I should be transitioning in a few weeks. Even though I wont be in Renton anymore soon doesn't mean I'll forget you guys like c'mon! I wish everyone luck over there and I miss you guys. :)
