What I would do is skip Pj's altogether. I mean, if you are just with your husband and no kids. Then is a good time to sleep naked and save room. When packing, wrap your clothes in a rolling method and pack your underwear in with the clothes. Shirt, panties, and then pants and wrap. purchase most of your shampoo, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste ect there. Save you space and throw it away before heading home. Buy clothes that are light and also not fully taking up a lot of space. Like leggings for instance are thin and won't take up space. Bring 4 outfits, maybe even 3 and do laundry. Airbnb's have washers a lot of times. Look for one. Do laundry there and hang it to dry. Skip bringing pillows, towels and anything you don't NEED. Put headphones and anything you will use on the airplane in your purse (hopefully it's big enough, if not get one). You can fit everything in a carry-on. I fit all my husband's clothes and mine into a carry-on backpack. I put my professional camera equipment in a hip back, along with my airplane needs, passports, and papers. I left my other carry-on suitcase completely empty to bring back things I purchase from abroad.
