What Does Carmex Have To Do With The World's LARGEST Theater Pipe Organ???
Просмотров 7 тыс.Год назад
A visit to Doors Open Milwaukee 2023 took us to the warehouse of Carma Laboratories. The open house had nothing to do with the making of Carmex, instead it was all about this one of a kind theater pipe organ. If you get a chance next year, check it out in Franklin, Wisconsin. You won't believe the sounds that come out of this instrument!

I have the 4800 (surge) same brand. It runs my microwave and 15000 btc AC at same time and doesn't get above 75% power capacity.
Why is it playing itself?????
very COOL!!!
Amazing gentleman. Really honored to have shared a cockpit and a few beverages with this fine aviator.
One for you Earl, fantastic 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💕
I have had an Ender 3 pro for about five years now, and I have slowly added a lot of prints to up grade it. About a month ago I picked up a Vanilla Ender 3, and it was a hoot to print out all of the upgrades u learned slowly all at once. I felt all smart and successful. I hope you had a similar moment when you installed the fan cover. :-)
Yes I did. I got a used ender 3 3D. That is the lowest one. I have a 36 hour print I want to make, but that might wait till I upgrade to the 5 SI. I don’t know if I trust this one yet…😊
why no picture of the print
The thumbnail is the photo of the print.
Also there is a link to what I printed.
My RV is a small Epro 14FK with a 13,500 A/C unit. This should run it no problem right? For how long do you think the gas will last while running the AC? Thank you ahead of time.
I can help!!! About 6hrs. I have this generator and a 13,5000 air conditioner. I've had the generator about 4 years, and it gets used a bunch. We're very happy with it.
AWESOME GOOD VIDEO THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH ME JIM K FROM PHILLY WAY 😀
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful, I hope to visit some day.
much much louder then a Honda
Not really. I didn’t use a meter, but does not seem to much louder than my Honda.
Sounds like it just on the audio
It's a fine instrument, but it's not even close to being the world's largest theatre pipe organ. That distinction belongs to the Boardwalk Hall Auditorium Organ in Atlantic City with its nearly 34,000 pipes. Franklin, Wisconsin is close for me and have placed this organ on my bucket list. How fun is this?
It’s good stuff. You should watch for when they have programs there.
@@tworailproductions Indeed I will.
The Boardwalk Hall organ is not a theater organ, it is a concert organ, it can do theater organ sounds, but not made primarily for theater work.
boardwalk hall is not a theater pipe organ..... its a concert organ
The owner is the man in the light blue shirt that you see walking around and sitting on the bench. If you are interested in more organs like this, the local club is the Dairyland Theatre Organ Society. The national organization is the American Theatre Organ Society. I am a member of both.
Then you were probably at the concert this past Saturday. Good silent movie hey?
Yes, I was there. One week is one of my favorite silent shorts@@Photosbyrasberry
I wish they hadn't quit making lotion. I have a few tubes that I got at kmart a few years ago. I like having that vanillawey scent on my hands (when I'm playing my Nord keyboards.)
Hmmm
It's great that someone is keeping these magnificent instruments alive!
Yes it is!
So cool!
Yup. It was not what I expected, but I could have sat there all day and listened to it. The owner does not play it, but he has people for that. 😂
I know about this organ already. Mark Herman has don't virtual concerts from Carmex.
A fantastic sound, has there been a cd made for sale I would love to get a copy of it. thanks for the posting.
If you live in Milwaukee they have concerts.
Absolutely fantastic! Were the makers of Carmex into pipe organ preservation or something? How did it wind up in their warehouse?
The owner likes mechanical stuff so we had it built.
@@PhotosbyrasberryGood enough reason for me.
What the???
lol
In your opinion is this the best generator for the dollar. I am very close to ordering one. Thanks, Bill
Depends on what you are doing. It's the best for the money that's for sure.
According to the manual, to check the oil level, insert the dipstick in to the oil fill without screwing it in. Remove the dipstick to check the oil mark.
Very cool video.
Thanks. And there was sun... LOL
@@Photosbyrasberry ya lol
Love Ryan and his boy 💪
this is the most coolest thing i have seen, talk about being a daredevil. WOW
Thanks. He is pretty good at what he does.
Great work putting the music to the video
Thanks 👍
😀 Stunning
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks warmer than here.
Way Warmer!
Very cool video.
Thanks
They should have named it "Meh"...
yup
Does it run the a/c in your rv?
Yes it does.
This is a fantastic little generator. I have a 2350 and it has been solid!
Hi. For astrophotography, could it handle 3 or 4 mounts plus accessories?
you would have to add up the total watts
How many BTUs is the A/C?
Could not say. It's in storage right now. It is a standard window unit. The generator doesn't even come off idle when running it. Now the 1800 watt microwave. That's another story. You know it's running!
@@Photosbyrasberry wow that's really awesome
Very nice clips and pics! I went to EAA awhile back and saw White Knight with Space Ship One. There were only 1 or a couple air shows where it was seen so I feel lucky to have been there. I'm not a big fan of space tourism though due to the fossil fuels burned but if they are used in conjunction with a necessary project like satellite launch I get it.
Thanks for watching. Check out my other videos from EAA at our museum channel Mitchell Gallery of Flight. ruclips.net/channel/UCSwsr_KU7nsUUHmEnr7VQHwfeatured
You just ruined it !!!!! No Synthetic oil first 2 or 4 changes !!!!!
Lol
What are the specs on you microwave, like how many watts for power consumption? Thanks
A-number-1 ...this video is better than anything on the EAA website.
So let me tell you about this camper since I own one. I will delete this comment when the manufacturer stands behind this product. The actuator arm for the roof only works for about 1 camping season. I am about to buy my 3rd one. On the camper groups on Facebook they recommend buying a spare. BTW - it does raise the roof but it doesn't lock it in place. So you will need a tall man on a step stool or a long blunt pole to lock the roof in place. The back skylight window over the rear bed is plastic. It will warp in the heat and the corners will pull away from the camper and start to leak. Good luck if you are camping when this happens. Every season you will need to have this window re-sealed at the dealer. Buy any extended guarantee they sell if you are going to purchase this camper. You are going to need it to replace the wet mattress after the window leaks. The fridge only works if the camper is dead level. If it is off by a degree you will not have a cold fridge. The hinges (for all the walls) are held on with wood screws that are screwed into the aluminum walls (very thin metal). After that they are screwed into Styrofoam. They are not screwed into a wood frame. You have thin metal and then Styrofoam. I can provide pictures. I have had 2 wall sections pull away and have to be repaired. I spent lots of money on this thing and because of the water leak it is now worthless. 2019 to now. I'm working with the bank and my insurance company. Good luck getting a loan on one of these.
I never said they were good. In fact this was the biggest piece of crap I have ever owned. The Amish sure don't know what to do when it comes to electrical things. I had the whole rear end of the camper delaminate. I went through three roof lifts. I finally was just opening it by hand. The warranty was a joke. The good thing was I got most of my money back when I traded it in.
@@Photosbyrasberry Thank you sir. I'm glad I wasn't alone. I'm about to lose my shirt on this camper.
Make sure you to check or call to see when there open and what time they close. Don't waste you're time coming to see something when it's not available. And bring a mask for covid precautions.
Does it run a big refrigerator easy?
I would guess so. It runs a microwave. I use it to power an RV
Explosive!
It was a blast
