Hello Image Collections So to explain a little about the origins of tokens. The same now there are limited on what fruit machines can pay as their max prize. This has always been the case with the amounts changing over the years. So for example at one point the Max CASH prize was £3. BUT you could offer a non cash prize of £6 which would have been £6 in tokens. When playing for tokens these days there is no option to exchange for cash. But MOST arcades allow you to exchange them to sweets, gifts, merch etc. In the case of Retro Slots they have a prize cabinet and you can exchange for products in there. Back in the day you used to win tokens in pubs too. In pubs you could use them to purchase drinks and cigarettes. So you were essentially getting exactly the same as cash value as you could buy your next pint using them. Hopefully this helps and answered your question CAshman_eq

Hello Stephen Topham Rest assured one day these slots will be gone, and they will not come back.
