maybe my statement back then was a bit exaggerated (since the video is pretty old by now), but I've often noticed that people are hesitant to start with part 1 because it's from the early 70s. whenever I recommended lupin to my friends, they were put off and asked if they could skip part 1. Some people even start with Part 4 just because they prefer modern anime shows. as for part 3, I think it's no longer the black sheep of the series. In recent years, I've seen more and more posts where people suggest giving part 3 another chance. I even uploaded a video called "why you shouldn't skip part 3" and it received many positive comments. nowadays a lot of people dislike part 6 more than part 3. I don't hate part 6 (it was a hit or miss in my opinion) but it's still my least favorite part of the series.
