I do manage the priorities, I was mostly complaining about having to go eat and sleep and rec after only working for 2% of the day lol

@@NotNixela good tip is to set 4 hours of sleep for the hours of 23 ,24 ,1 ,2. Then set another 4 hours at the time of 10 ,11 ,12 ,13. And before both sleep times set 1 hour of recreation

I separated the areas I didn't feel like cleaning, making it too big would be a hassle to keep clean, I also realized I should have used jade and silver walls to make things really good

​@@NotNixelactually kinda min-max tip is to build jade fences, they give 10 beauty each at a cost of 1 jade per fence, so if you don't care about min-maxing you could try this

and they keep wealth at bay, there is that too..

Doing anything in rimworld is a challenge tbh

Long drive is so much fun, but after 5 mins of driving I get bored. But having a goal has added some fun to it. Its made on Unity so I expected it to be moddable but the thing is it's not moddable with the most common thing called harmony so I was surprised when found the discord for the game has step by step on how to set it up.

@@NotNixel I like the game for its "looter-hoarder" aesthetic, which I dig a lot, as well as "walking off brutal, unsurvivable crashes" moments I've never been into writing mods, mostly just using them, but still it's peculiar that The Long Drive does NOT use the same libraries, despite also being on Unity engine. But you gotta do with what ya have, eh?

Need to get the mods separate and not lag the game, I might work on that after the series ends.

Yeah, once I realized how it worked I knew it was perfect. Its pretty simple but I do want to be able to do more with modding as I'm pretty limited on my coding knowledge, but at least I can make fun things like this :D

I didn't read all of it I didn't realize you sent so much. It makes me super happy knowing you're liking it so much :D (I also hope I can make vids on other games that you'll enjoy too since I know long drive isn't going to be fun to watch for ever) I'll make a playlist for it, that does make sense. I was also thinking of making a whole recap video with all of the videos combined once I reached the end of the road and add more commentary to wrap the whole series neatly.

Yeah I can definitely release them, I just need to separate them from being in the same code project and also make the spawning items not lag the game. The mod that shows distance doesn't exactly work since it doesn't save when you load. Im going to try to do some rimworld videos but not pure commentary, there's already a lot of good channels for that

It's about the same, it's harder to analyze because it's mostly just his editors and I don't know where it starts and ends, sorry to disappoint. I could do a serious analysis on his music.

@@NotNixel You did a good job pointing out music used by RUclipsrs, but he was in the thumbnail so it was a bit confusing. Anyways, I do think what you mentioned was interesting, definitely made me consider the question more deeply 😁 If you do pursue it, he edited his original videos (as everyone often does) and new videos still have a lot of insight anyway. Plus during streams he's very meticulous about playing specific music to fit the vibe. He mentioned a little in his content creator guide about using music too (34:37). And hey, if you don't make a follow up, I might have to steal the idea and do it myself lol

@@Jefnam I think it'd be an interesting idea but I don't think I would make a follow up, I was thinking of just editing this vid and reuploading it since it has a copyright song RUclips doesn't like, but really I kinda like how it is so idk how much I want to do that.
