I was saved from buying many bottles by reading scent note breakdowns. I bought 300 quids worth in six month and had to reevaluate my space . Probably had something to do with covid times. Consider giving some away to friends family and people who would be cheered up by something pretty like a bottle of perfume.

How to make your fragrance hobby more afforable: Stay at least a couple of years behind and buy partials. I have about 55 full bottles. Didn’t pay full retail price for a single one.

I love your review. It def is floral, but I smell the roses for sure, heavily. I live in Portland, OR, and it's known as the City of Roses. This literally smells to me what I smell when I walk through the neighborhood's rose garden. There is musk for sure. I just didn't smell the vanilla much. I just got home from getting a sample and I literally couldn't stop smelling myself. I am obsessed.

I think the solution to this is to buy only decants and samples and only get 1 or 2 full bottles a year of only the perfumes that you personally identify with.

70 bottles in less than a year. Im on a no buy. For every two full bottles I use up, I plan to buy a 50ml until I’m down to 24 bottles.

I did own a couple of jo Malone on the past and unfortunately they don’t last more than an hour, at least that’s my personal experience, the smell is a paradise tho but wish they could last at least 5 to 6 hours

A good idea is to exchange the ones you dont like with fam, friends, etc... I did that a couple of times and I could discover new scents without spending money. I ve sold some of them too, on facebook market place or fb groups. Well we have to be creative here cause is almost imposible to afford buying fragances, they are super overpriced and we dont have all of them in stores. 😢
