Marks of Christian Maturity (Part 3)
Pastor John Peront speaks on Hebrews 5:14 about the topic of discernment as a mark of christian maturity. The believer must understand that God is the true God, that He calls His children to be discerning, and that there is a correct approach to judgment, in love not in pride.

Then he looks at Old Testament passages that show how this preserving of a remnant in Israel is a fulfillment of God's promises. Finally, he considers the raising up of the house of David in the last days...

Pastor Peront speaks on Hebrews 5:11-14 on the problem of immaturity. The immaturity of believers is marked by their interaction with the Word of God. Eager attention to the Bible is the characteristic of mature believers. They never grow dull of hearing. They never get tired of listening to the Word of the Living God.

How to Enjoy Sweet Fellowship with God
Great sermon!
I studied 'The Suffering of Believers' years ago. Jesus said that all Believers will suffer, being in God's Will. Patience will abound! Rejoice!

38:50ish : “ I wish you had three hours today, I really do.” That is so problematic in the Greco Roman church system. The formula is to have social time, that generally doubles the amount of sermon time, give your tithe/offerings, indulge in your secular activities, and repeat, repeat.
The thief in the night story is not, not an illustration of not being ready although that is true, it was a factual story and practice…. The lamps in the temple was to burn all night long. It was the watchman‘s responsibility to add oil to the lamps. Another dedicated night watchmen/priest, would check to see if the watchmen had fallen asleep. If so, he set fire the edge of his white robe, immediately waking him up! As Paul Harvey would say : “ now you know the rest of the story”.
26 minutes: Paul mentioning “times and seasons” is referencing God’s holy feast days, 4 in the spring and 3 in the fall. The Feast of Tabernacles is upon us at this writing👏♥️. It is believed by many saints, it is when Messiah was born, and when He will return- Tabernacle with us🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏
22:30 Malaki 4👏👏👏👏Ahmein❤❤. The very first words spoken by Yeshua/Jesus and Yohanan/John the Baptist was REPENT💕. Repentance is likened to Yeshua putting mud on the born blind man’s eyes--They was OPENED for the very first time of his entire life👏♥️👏♥️.
18 minutes: “clarity and comprehension”. Clarity and comprehension began to be mixed with truth, and error from Greco Roman doctrines from gentile only Christians to where the church is today with numerous various denominations. Fortunately, those who are truly born again have repented and are finding their way back to the “Way” that was once delivered to the Saints.
The Hebrews start their day in the evening, because that’s when God established the beginning of the day… According to the rising and setting of the moon, not by man’s reckoning of time. That’s one reason why “no man knows the day or the hour.”, because they adhere to fallen man’s doctrine instead of God’s doctrines.(Mark 7:7-9, Romans 8:7-9)
After watching "A Thief in the Night" in December 1975, I trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. He changed my life completely.
You are not reading this by mistake 💥 This is your confirmation God's message for you today John 14:15 “If you love me, obey my commandments. So than, Share this Command with others, Jeremiah 27:15, 14:14, 23:16, 23:21 John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and remain in His love.
how’s life?!Omg~fantastic ,till next time. 😌
I have a gap theory between the index and ring finger.
And all shall come to repentance… every knee will bow before God’s infinite mercy and forgiveness. What is the most important commandment… and the second? Why should we be as little children? The Good News is that EVENTUALLY every knee will bow, “Apokatastasis”… He will reconcile all of His creation (Acts 3:21). REJOICE! Some are saved through repentance, some through the varied agonies of hell. ETC (eternal conscious torment) is not the Good News, it’s the worst News possible for trillions… it is a lie of Biblical proportions. Let’s rejoice in our Father’s infinite mercy, forgiveness, and love…He will always go to any lengths to rescue that last sheep. Because He is God, all His desires are fulfilled… especially the desire that all be saved. The great commission is so the unsaved won’t have to suffer any longer than necessary in hell. Hell is real, it is agonizingly terrible… the wicked may be there for a million excruciatingly painful years or more… but God’s mercy will eventually bring that one lost sheep back into the fold. Heaven will rejoice in apokatastasis… in the complete restoration of His Kingdom. Scripture is absolutely the God breathed Divine Word… as it was written in Greek and Hebrew, which clearly says that hell does not last for eternity…it lasts for “an age,” (or, “age of ages”), which may very much feel like eternity to the wicked. God is perfect justice after all. Tens of thousands have undoubtedly killed themselves over this lie perpetuated by false teachers since the 5th century. God is love, God is not evil. I pray for all of those who will find themselves in the judgment seat having to answer to our Lord for teaching, our Father is capable of evil in the name of what they imagine to be justice. Acts 3:21 is just one verse saying that God is perfect love. 1 Cor. 15:22 is another verse that guides us to the truth of God’s, infinite mercy, forgiveness, and love.…. “All means all.“Love God, love your neighbors, and be like children if you want to enter the kingdom of heaven… a child cannot even conceive of the word eternal to say anything of eternal torment. It is a child who can give false teachers the profound gift of shame leading to the colossal gift of humility, seeing ourselves as we are. Let’s all learn from them to be innocent, to know what it feels like to be showered in God’s grace…and, above ALL, to love others the way an infant loves her mother… perhaps the purest image beyond the Cross of God’s infinite love. We must put on the armor of God and have the courage to humble ourselves enough to tell the Truth. God bless you Pastor and your ministry.
Excellant sermon on the realities of life and looking to God for our answers or our needs and having faith and trusting in God.
Thanks Brian from Rick & Deb in Cedar City. We miss you all.

The churchfathers thought that 1. "Spirit of God" and 2. "God [the Father] is a spirit" (Jn. 4:24) were TWO distinct Spirits. Not true, they are the SAME One! Indeed you know that both 1. the Holy Spirit (AKA Spirit of God) is INSIDE Jesus "Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from Jordan..", and 2. "God [the Father] who is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23-25) is INSIDE Jesus "...from the Father who dwells in me.". But Jesus states that ONLY ONE SPIRIT is inside Him, namely THE FATHER: for ex. "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me" (reiterated dozens of times). This means that "SPIRIT OF GOD" - inside Jesus - and "GOD WHO IS A SPIRIT" - inside Jesus - are actually both the SAME ONE SPIRIT (the Father). They just show a slightly different wording. Thus, the "Spirit of God" is not a helper-God, HE IS THE FATHER. The churchfathers were wrong. If you change terminology the result is the same: "Holy Spirit" and "Father, who is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23-25) are not TWO distinct Spirits but the SAME ONE. Jesus simply is together ONLY with "(A) the FATHER who is (B) a SPIRIT" and calls Him either "HOLY Father" or "HOLY Spirit" according to circumstances. They are just two EQUIVALENT names given by Jesus to the Father. You can learn it from the speech about the two blasphemies, where the second one is of course directed to the Father: He is called "Holy Spirit" by Jesus.
God bless Pastor Peront. Thanks for fixing the video problems… loud and clear out here in Cedar City, Utah.
Amen.
God blesses the local assembly.
Let me love God as Christ loves me.
Thank you.
“The way of God IS perfect.“ Sometimes I feel like I have to cover my eyes and ears so as not to be swept away by, “the torrents of ungodliness.“ This service every Sunday is like a calming eddy that survives at the edge of the torrent. Praise the Lord!

“Jesus is coming again!” 🙏
Pastor, I could just kiss… never mind. 😂 Wonderful sermon.
While services are going on inside, I’m sitting in the parking lot of our church in Utah listening to this sermon filled with gratitude. 🙏✝️🙏 (This is not a commentary on the service inside Valley Bible Church… just an expression of gratitude for Crossroad’s and Pastor Peront. We miss you all.)
I’m thankful for your sermon. 🙏✝️🙏

This sermon is so wonderful to me. It has so much meaning to me as to why we suffer in our lives.

Good Surmon!
Thank you for the wonderful service! And I’m very grateful I can still attend from home while I’m nursing a migraine
Praise the Lord that you could still listen in! We will pray for a quick recovery.
