As a realtor you should definitely get into it right away at 18. You will be happy and rich while your friends are building student debt in uni.
I live in San Diego and am getting ready to go to real estate school in the next week or so. I am excited but nervous. Hi! I was wondering what the name of the brokerage you mentioned where you got a salary and commission?
I’m 22 about to graduate college. I want to get into real estate so bad! I honestly feel drawn to it & intuitively feel like it would be the right career for me. But I’ve heard so many negative things online about it that it’s really discouraging. I know the first year/second year are hard, but some people make it sound like it’s impossible to do well/most are struggling..so it’s really nice to hear another young woman who is close in age that had a positive experience.
Don’t let anyone experience stop you from doing something you are intellectually drawn to, follow your intuition & heart.

Hi Ariel, I’m in a similar boat! I went to college for math and then I got my masters in education and was a teacher for 5+ years. But I really started getting into real estate and the nice thing is you can do it on the side for a while until you get comfortable enough to do it full time!

Yes! It was intimidating at first but you will learn so much just by experience and asking questions. You'd be surprised at the number of Realtors who seem to know everything but in actuality don't. Just stay confident :)
