Sounds good. But when you're starting literally from 0 in certain fields you better be sure you have baseline knowledge of how to do the work. This is good for very low skilled work but hardly good advice for things like Software Engineering. All the action in the world isn't going to get you the clients without having the proper skills.

Sounds like you have Nigerian parents, lol. I have similar character traits to you and your brother. I realized what was happening with my prefrontal cortex, not in a scientific sense but a gut feeling sense, and worked on was letting go of the expectations and the need to prove myself to him. I still get competitive sometimes, but I worked on letting go, questioning why I wanted to be successful in the first place. A lot of failures triggered this, maybe a lack of discipline also made it easier to question it. In my current state, I find myself in a balance, realizing the goal means nothing, it's an illusion or a delusion that one would be transformed after reaching their goal, after all that's why people create goals, to shed thier past selves and create a new sense of identity and fulfilment, but it never stops. I realized that no matter what I had or what I would have accomplished, I am still the insecure shit who needs to be validated. Now I just do things I enjoy or find a way to enjoy it. If I have any "goal" now, the goal would be to live life, whether it is professionally or personally, everything I do whether I am working or hanging out is all productive time to me because I am living. I hope this makes sense lol.
Jamaican so nearly, for me it will be impossible to chill until the goal is realised you know, its like when the guru says money didn't make him happy at all yet I still want the money lol

Respect for you putting in the work and getting results. Yeah haters are so weird because slowly many people start giving you this evil look. I feel like it really reveals who has no hope in their heart for their own success. It does give us more motivation though, the more progress we make the angrier they get. Heck I have millionaires who hate me because of my coding skills. So it’s not just hating on our financial situation but also our skills and potential.
That competition state of mind is dangerous, can't spend too much time around it and to be honest i'm not even trying to pay it too much attention you know the whole idea of what you focus on grows as-well as constantly polarising myself to others and creating antagonism in my heart you know (I know what i talk about in my videos will seemingly go contrary to this)
