I was surprised that Huggins wasn't a dud or dishonorable mention. Or really his lawyer. His lawyer stated that he did not resign properly and was still an employee. It is all semantics or lawyer speak but the gist of the matter is like watching an episode of Suits. In the end Huggins is not the WVU coach and depending on wording in a contract will determine his payout. Also someone has to keep our world safe from the evil entities lurking about in the Diablo realm. Diablo IV is a true grind after end game.

Spenace, You need to look at how many times a team has left time on the clock after their last score to lose the game. Chiefs did that against Tom Brady in a playoff game. They gave Brady a minute or so and he gave the Patriots a win. We could have had a Super bowl appearance that year. That was Mahomes first matchup against Brady. Next year Brady won in OT in the AFC champ game. You always take the points until either end of the half or end of the game. That is when you look at scoring points differently. Do you go for two instaed of one? Do you play for the Field Goal instead of scoring a TD? What happens when you fumble on the goal line? What happens if you throw a pick six? Sure there is a chance for a field goal muff and scoop and score but that is the longest odds of all that. It is a sound decision to run time down at the game end to not give the "Best team in the NFL" a chance to win the game. The Eagles were the best team in the NFL by everyone's measure. They unfortunately did not have Reid as a coach that day. I gotta be truthful about my confidence in Butker as a kicker. His ability to miss extra points has plagued him. But had he missed we would still be able to win in OT maybe. I was the only sane individual in the house that last drive. I had total buy in that this was going to be a win after the flawless play the offense had and the defensive stands that slowed the Eagles. The second half adjustments got us there. As a fan I have seen the run down the clock hurt my teams chance for winning a game and did not like it. I didn't like the outcome but a team typically got themselves to that position way before the last few minutes of the game. The previous drives in a game are more important than the last drive if that makes any sense. (Ruckus logic). I justify bad calls or weird bounces to say there is no one play that loses a game. If you played better and keep yourself out of the position where a bad call loses the game then do that. I watch a lot of college football (BOOMER SOONER!) where my team loses a call on an onside kick or Pass interference or whatever happens late in a tie game and then everyone says that call cost us the game. Well what if you didn't fumble the ball a few times earlier in the game? what if the three and outs were less than 10 times in a game? We sometimes lose site of the game prior to the last series in those games and our bias steers us as well. (Dad Rant) Get off my lawn you whipper snappers! my 2 cents

Ranked 6th before Big12 play then after three straight losses and last loss to Texas was a shutout. After that they were squarely in the middle of the bottom 10 rankings with a 3 win 3 loss record. The worst 3 win team in the NCAA!! The transfer portal was brutal and will continue to swing the talent pendulum for many teams. The pay to play or whatever we are calling it isn't being regulated at all by NCAA so it is starting as a free for all. It up until now has not been disclosed openly that players at the collegic level are getting benefits from the alumni. I walked by the athletic dorms parking lot in the 80's at OU and there were some really nice vehicles being "borrowed" by players. Those were the salad days. Troy Aikman's attempt before going to Cali, Bosworth with his mohawk on the sideline. Troy came back later to get defeated as the UCLA QB. He was the QB for OU for a few games in 1985 until he got taken out with a broken ankle against Miami on there run to a national championship that year. I have heard plenty of stories about part-time jobs provided to turn on lights at local businesses for college players. KU pays organizations to "prep" players. There was a player a few years ago that had a new york firm prep the player to be college eligible. The made it sound like they were tutoring the player. They were doing that some I am sure but why do you need a bunch of lawyers to tutor a child/young man? I think lawyers are way better qualified to find the loophole in the college admissions and those same lawyers can drag out an NCAA investigation for more than 2 or 3 years. KU is still under the NIKE investigation and the time will run out when pay to play for NCAA basketball takes full effect. Supposedly Texas A&M had the best talent this year but it hasn't shown. It will, freshman are not all ready for the next level. Takes a few games to get used to the new level of play. Like going from college to pro. Or maybe thier talent will enter the portal before they get a chance to shine at A&M. rant over

KC Knights were a pro league that was like a D-League. They made it 3 years and disbanded. It had recent college players that were never going to be a big star in the NBA. It did not help that the local TV outlets did not report their scores ever.
