yeah, i know the feeling. i feel my reading is slower nowadays. i used to read more and faster when i was younger. i read Flowers in the Attic and the 3 other sequential books in high school, back in the 80s. i recently found the prequel used at a used book sale. and bought it. but havent read it yet.

I so appreciate your review on this book! I love books that tear my heart out and stomp on it. Ellen said it perfectly, though: you can’t prepare yourself for the ending of this book. And that’s okay. Some people don’t like endings like this, but some people have to actually live through stuff like this, so it’s important to tell the dark sides of these stories, not just the hopeful parts.

I love this book

it doesnt make me cry, but this book is highly interesting. I have read the book 7 years ago. now i have the 2nd book. but i cant seem to connect to book2. i vadly need to reread dead beautiful.

its a nice book. i was expecting more from it. like what happen during the wedding, how does maxim's mother and sister accept allesia.. etc.

I would say that this book would have benefited greatly from a two part series. I think E.L James rushed most of the character development for all but Alexia who I really connected with. I think she did the best she could fit into one book. But gosh that ending felt like an interlude. It was a better pill to swallow than FSOG in my opinion

Never apologise for the tears, losing Rosie is a massive thing for you - when they’re suddenly not there, everything just feels like an empty space. I felt exactly the same with Christmas last year after Blue, I cried most of Christmas Day 🙁 but that’s all normal. It does get a little easier I promise 😘 and remember you can message me anytime, sending lots of hugs 🤗 xxxxx

Oh Erin. My heart absolutely breaks for you. I completely understand your pain. We lost our 15 year old October of 2017 and it was the worst time of my life. Animals are so precious and perfect. Please know you’re not alone and I am always here. Sending a huge hug with this my sweet friend ❤️
