Jesus!!! wtf! Yikes
This band ! Just incredible. Imagine them coming and playing in your living room !!
Miss the old bridges
they were pretty awful, you can tell they were built to the minimum good of their times
It makes me happy to read the comments and know there are others out there that appreciate the brilliance of this band. Cake is timeless, been listening to it for 30 years and still marvel and enjoy.
I liked the zooming in coinciding with the words 'it gets larger as it gets nearer'
Awesome! So happy you are still making beatiful music! What a voice! Regards from south america!
You lucky b***t**d!! :)
Nice my buddy John :)
This is great having an on-board video for a change. They are hard to come by. I'd love to find some of onboard Reading Company open window rides from the 1950's or 1960's - diesel-hauled or electric MU.
I've been watching this so often over the past few days. The sound is impeccable -- this is a gorgeous version of the song. Thank you.
Best band on the planet.
Beautiful song
That’s pretty cool they can ride the train set up the camera just to see some of the beautiful scenery but you would not be able to see you otherwise!!
Some things, some friendships... are for life!
Was one of the best Albums of my RUclips - and this the best Song 👍👍👍
Extremely jealous here... I love them so much.. I still listen to CAKE at least once a week.. It's still effects me like when I was young.
Nice ride so beautiful train
Nicely done! I really enjoyed the shots pulling into Port Clinton & the Outer Station.
Excellent window hanging footage. Great tone from that Leslie single chime. Good to see some RDCs still out and about. Thanks for sharing!
Sure wish we had RDC's out here in the western states that were still operational. Would love to ride one!
John, really nice video. You let the rails and wheels do the talking.
I was there. It was one of my favorite shows of all time.
Lucky you. Have seen them in small venues, but a house show would be class.
Cool!How much does it cost?
$39 roundtrip from North Reading or Port Clinton to Jim Thorpe, $24 roundtrip from Tamaqua. Only two weekends left, and next weekend looks like gorgeous weather! www.rbmnrr-passenger.com/schedule
@@johnjauchler7946 Oh no! I am in Canada now. 😂

Sou fã... , ouço sempre....
Reality is priceless. I shall collapse any second now, your career won't suffer.
What word does he change for tammie for the line "Throw in my tammie and run for presidente?" P.S. Let me know next party! I'm an hour away and we'll help pay or bring food. etc!
Italian ring
compare this song to nat king cole's "the best man" and this song is like a book. writers' muses exist somewhere, unappreciated
eighteen years old, not entirely sober, walking the streets, and though it wasn't yesterday, hear this song and you remember the time and space as if it was the present moment you're partly living in. is that a song or what?
My fave track, up there with hayfever. Love you guys!!!
#7661 SP was a GP40-2 Great footage of a great time to be a railfan.
First heard this group 25 possibly 30 years ago singing White Horses and loved it. Was told they had disbanded not long after but kept a recording a friend had made back then. A short while ago decided to see if it was on google, brilliant it was but loads of other stuff came up, To sir with love (next to White Horses the absolute best), Leave me alone, Hayfever etc, I am now hooked. Was shocked to find his sister is Eddi Reader of Fairground Attraction and that the TCSs are still performing.
all the dark horses is in my personal opinion, their most powerful song. their entire discography is so unique and brilliant, but all the dark horses can speak to anyone listening.
Beautifully somber. Thank you for being amazing.
Still touring, now primarily as a 3-piece acoustic act. Still outstanding. They just wrapped up a tour of the United States last week in fact, playing their records “A Happy Pocket” and “Weightlifting” in their entirety. Join their Facebook page for updates.
What happened to them, where are they now?
Probably writing more music and back to touring next year
John and Stephen are in Scotland, Frank is in California, and I think Paul is in Oregon but they are still together as a group, they released 2 singles this last year; don't know what the plans are for touring but they are on Patreon.
Excellent Shot should that be the Mid90s which is 1994-96
One of my all-time favorite songs by a band, especially the studio version, from an under-celebrated band!
The fact that this amazing, world class pop band is playing in someone's living room, ok with that, and we get to see it just blows my mind.
at the beginning the camera pans the crowd, and you can see a Boy among the crowd... that kid probably doesnt even know what hes witnessing. i wouldve done anything to take his place
Were they desperate for gigs or something? 😂
Now this is my idea of a party. One of the best pop bands on the planet playin' in the livin' room. "Best Days on Earth" usually brings a tear to my eye, and this is no exception. It might be the best pop song ever written in the past ten years. '
You nailed an Air Jamaica 727 perfectly! Very very rare on YT! Great job!
wha the!
Grandiose!
Genius ☮️
Paul is such an amazing guitarist...
love this song, and album !
Always been one of my favorites... Great energy in the outro. What a treat! Thanks for the upload!
I love this so much.♥️💜♥️💜♥️👍🙌😘😍
Peerless: 3:50: 'You came into my life, like a brick through a window, and I.. cracked a smile'. Enough to make you smile and cry at the same time. There will be a time in the future when people will look back and listen to the TCS and ask 'why?'
As usual the lyrics are amazing
Then i had this idea.......
