I ended up wiring the pump the wrong way. You’ll see at the end of the video that my pump wasn’t pumping. The next video will show the correct wiring. It should turn on with the key in the “on” position before the engine is on.

Just wanted to share my experience installing this kit I got from Boost District. It has been a BLAST on the car. But when I was installing mine I couldn’t find one compiles video for this specific kit so I figured I would do one myself. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments.

Changed out the standard lug nuts that came with the KSP wheels spacers for Extended Open end lug nuts to get more thread engagement….and to get all the mechanic shops off my back…..I had to Jerry rig a breaker bar to get the front end wheels spacers off, NOT easy to say the least. Didn’t add the video to that part because I didn’t want to edit the audio.

I installed these 1.5 inch wheel spacers on my 05 4Runner. They are high quality based on the materials on how they are made. So far they hold up great and it’s been almost a month! Skip minutes 3-10 to skip the busy work that you can’t see too well.

      @ thanks brother I appreciate you! I’ll definitely be posting soon, I’m just doing a core triple pump right now because I was tired of depending on the dsx aux kit and the bap. If you know anybody that wants to buy the MSD BAP or the DSX aux pump let me know both for a 5th gen. Anyway car will be back together soon. Like I Said yesterday looking forward to some content of that scat brother!

    Does it have to be a 12v battery? Could it be 9v?

      @@pfredro I’m not sure, I don’t think it would hurt to try a 9V tho. The only issue you might run into is it not having enough power. But I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

    Was your SS stock before the LSA

      @@delpaynessr.8545 No. it was a 416 stroker, mild cam, LT header, intake car. Made 471 before the LSA. I’m in Utah though so typically that combo nets higher results.

    Nice videos bro very helpful I’m slapping a lsa on my Camaro as well.. was wondering i see u still using the same belt drive .. did u have to get a 6 rib upper pulley or the 8 rib one worked ?

      @@phantom5239 Thanks man, glad it’s helping out. The kit I purchased was specifically designed to be put on an LS3. So I did maintain the 6 rib set up. I also didn’t have any belt slip at my power level, might be thanks to the griptec pulley that I had. Not sure the limits of the 6 rib to be honest. But the belt I had to purchase that was long enough was originally for like a ford explorer lol.

      @@phantom5239 ohhh my bad, I was thinking you meant belt. Yes the 8 rib upper pulley works just offset it or else you’ll get some belt walk.

      @@phantom5239 Ask away man! Doesn’t bother me. I’m on a fully forged rotating assembly…not positive but I’m pretty sure SBE can handle into 800? Don’t quote me on that tho.

      @@slayemalloutdoors1973 yes. So I had the 2.55 upper pulley. And I went with 100” belt. Again if I remember right it’s the stock belt size for a ford explorer or expedition lol. But if you have different pulley sizes it will obviously effect that length.

    Boost district is very unprofessional, and the owner is condescending as hell. I ordered a kit for 10,000$ and was told before I ordered the kit I’d have it within 2 weeks and here we are 6 weeks later, i was treated as a nuisance anytime I asked about it like I didn’t just spend $10,000.. I still don’t have a kit and asked for my money back today.

      My kit came with 65lb injectors I’m hoping there going to be enough. I have cam/headers 2.55 upper pulley and zl1 fuel pump

      @@jamesweisel4279 not sure on the injectors…should be fine but I imagine you’re close to max duty cycle if you push into high 6 low 700hp but I could be wrong. I’ve got a cam and long tubes and have a 2.55 upper as well with the zl1 pump so I imagine you’ll make similar numbers🔥🤙🏻

      Also what did you end up doing about the rear lid bolts? I’m planning on running a lid spacer for better flow to the rear cylinders, so I’ll have about 20mm less clearance than you

      You can find them on Ebay. Type in Red Coolant hose 3/4”. It was NOT a ground haha. I ended up attaching the black wire to the block. You’ll see where in the next video. If you’re running a spacer your clearance will be really tight. I actually left the furthest back two bolts out and the blower has been working great for the past several months.

      @@DatHondaBoi223 no not that I or the shop that tuned it can tell. It technically has bolts on the back anyway which was why I felt comfortable leaving the inner back bolts out. Makes 681 wheel on almost 8 PSI.

      @@DatHondaBoi223 good to hear! I’ll post up the rest of the video as this is just part 1. To answer your question there is a dowel on the supercharger that was designed for the ZL1 valley cover on the engine as it has an indent so that the dowel lines up with it and slides in. The SS doesn’t have the same valley cover so you need to shave the dowel off or it will cause your SC to not seat properly.

      Yes it works I take out the recliner motor and works perfect but it's still stucked

      I took them off after about 6 months or so. They held up well but make sure you get extended thread lug nuts. I made the switch shortly after this install and they held up well. I just had a hard time stuffing my wheels while off-roading so I took em off.

      @@EricEidenberger you should be fine for a while I went for like 2-3 months without the extended lug nuts and had no issues. It’s just more dangerous from what I understand. Happy wheeling🤘🏻
