deer fat doesn't render correct? looked like a lot of fat on there?
Well, you made a tasty looking - burritos - out of deer meat and Mexican wheat flour tortillas, etc.. You did not make “tacos” as your title implied. Please change your incorrect video title. A “taco” is a made of a Mexican corn tortilla that has been deep fat fried into a folded shape to hold tasty goodies inside. A “burrito” is a Mexican wheat flour tortilla wrapped into a tube to hold tasty goodies inside. You need to buy a cook book and a dictionary. Matches don't burn at high temps or at high altitudes "u fucking joke"
Awesome! Made your recipe atleast 5 times.. Thanks!
Just cooked it up, and it's excellent. Perfect taste of fall--hearty, robust and full of simple rustic flavor. I'd only say that, compared to the listed recipe, you could use more bird. Just eyeball it and put in enough bird to match the volume of the stew. You'll love it!
I had several birds this Fall... It was a very good season! I am definitely going to try your stew!!!! Thanks for this very nice video!
is that a pork belly?
I want this. Unless it goes on in my pocket
Can't even say soto he says "sodo"
@raincaller1 I couldn't agree more.
so damn good.
it's wind resistant but not very water resistant. i had to dry it out before it worked again.
fucking hell that is such an awesome product... im blown away lol
by far the messiest version of cleaning a grouse i've seen yet lol. Do you keep the whole bird and just pluck the feathers? If so then this method makes alot more sense.
Hi BeyondHiking -- Thanks very much for the feedback on my Soto Pocket Torch review. I agree with you that I could've put it through more rigorous tests, and I'm planning on doing this more for future reviews of gear. Thanks! -Devin
I like the bit when he burns the sticks...
