Great review. Just got off the Grandeur and I too loved the theater (the seats were so comfy and the drinks fit in the holders). Loved the more relaxed atmosphere of the old ship. Your suite was a great perk and congrats on the Glass block (saw it in the other video).

I loved this video. I just got off Grandeur for 9 nights leaving from Port Everglades, hanging in Ft. Lauderdale for 5 nights then getting on a 6 night Virgin Voyage. It was so hard to pack. I am black/white/gray person but needed to add some Red for Virgin’s Red night. I usually wear bottoms twice with different tops. I always wear my embarkation outfit to dinner. If flying, the outfit I wear on the plane, I wear off the ship and on the plane (if flying out that day). This trip I am lucky enough to stay with family and friends and washed my clothes. I didn’t even wear 4 outfits during those 9 nights. Took a big suitcase and a small carry on. For me, it is all the extras for the cabin (toiletries, magnets, different meds - just in case, tide packets, and who knows what else) and that takes up so much space. I loved your chart and think I will make one of those up for next b2b cruise. Thanks for sharing and you looked great in all the outfits! Love the twirling in the black patterned dress.

Ok! Watching it a SECOND time & SUBSCRIBED! Our cruise is in January - I learned so much from you! The Chart is genius! Love your closet, & your hair cut is darling! Ok here we go: Blending embarkation & dinner outfit- smart. Tan dress/white sweater 😊 I love the blue short/sweatshirt set & very flexible to mix/match. Dinner on night 2- beautiful jumpsuit & sweater. 2nd jumpsuit option WITH POCKETS 😅 is cute. Your black sweater could go with it if you get chilly. The new white coverup is adorable & pockets! 🎉 I like the grey cover up too. Both hats are cute on you and go nicely with your haircut ! Can’t go wrong with either or the baseball cap. Day 3: the reddish pants… those are really cute on you. Don’t feel “not confident”. You’re like me- lots of black and neutrals lol! The pants bring some tropical color to you. I LOVE the cream colored shirt with the reddish (fuses?) pants. The black shirt is nice with them too, but for some reason I like the cream colored one the best. It brightens you up like sunshine. I think I like the red pants and white shirt with no bent the best - but what you are most comfortable with is what counts. Amen to be grateful for your body -I remind myself of that a LOT. The third shirt (black with the tying scarf thing) & sweater looks nice with the pants too. Day 4: I’m back to that cream colored shirt- I LOVE it on you. You MUST take it! Great with the shirts too- so versatile ! That goodwill- you hit the jackpot. Linen shirts go too, esp if it’s a chilly evening etc but the linen is so breezy and tropical. Denim shirt ❤ too. Dinner outfit : Goodwill again! SWEET!!!! The blk/white dress is so pretty . I really like it and the bow in the back pops. And comfortable too- comforts everything. Day 5: dinner- LOVE the green shirt/skirt/sweater! Green=tropical leaves. Ooohhhhh the ANIMAL PRINT SKIRT… very attractive outfit. Ok.. 3 shirt options for animal print skirt. At first I loved the first blk shirt with the tying scarf. Very pretty . BUT.. this second black shirt looks so summery and more tropical - I like this one over the first one. 3rd cream colored (monochromatic look) shirt- my least favorite. Cute shirt but it doesn’t pop like the two black ones do. The black shirts with the animal print is very sexy- Marshal will love it . Hmmm black skirt and green shirt or the animal print outfit??? That’s a tough one because I love both. Ask Marshal!! 😅 Day 6: I saw you pull out a white flowy shirt (you hung it back up) but that white shirt would also look good with the black shorts- you can get uses from the black shorts . And I agree- lighter fabric for Bahamas . Looking at the adjustable waste shorts- cute outfits with those. Black outside in Bahamas may be really hot. Dinner day 6: NICE! Black pants and that white loose top- definitely going. Day 7/working/cruising: oh! White shirts and that white top- ❤ The LOVE LOVE LOVE shirt dies look good with those shorts- but you didn’t seem to like it. Meetings… working .. I agree with your choice. Throw a necklace on and they’ll think you’re dressed up. That black dress (LBD) is perfect! (Where I really struggle is SHOES- they take so much room. Now that I’m afraid of heals, it’s complicated more so) Do you take different jewelry or where an earring that matches everything ? Will you take black dress shoes too? Also I see some reddish pants with white flowers hanging up- looks like a nice tropical print for future!? I enjoyed your video. And thank YOU for being vulnerable - you are brave ! I hope to be more like you !

I just wanted to tell you that you are an encouragement to me in so many ways. Thank you. I love your personality, and the way that you love and accept yourself . I’m working on that. I love that you’re a thrifty shopper - I am, too. I also had a displaced Trimalleolar fracture on my left ankle a little over a year ago - I broke all 3 connecting bones. Now I have plates and screws and wires … I haven’t worn a heal since my fall on 8/26/23. I have also gained substantial weight and I’m only 4’11…. When I think of a vacation, it’s stressful for several reasons. Anyways, you seem like someone I could sit and chat with over coffee - just a really nice person. Anyways, thank you. Maybe I’ll watch this video again and make some comments on some of my favorite outfits you tried on! You rock lady!!

Great video. I was on Enchantment a few months ago and did Back to Back & Side to Side (Grandeur) cruises, but I have never had any type of suite before so it is great to see the types of perks that came with this stateroom. Thanks for sharing. 🚢

I love booking my own cruise for my family . I always get the best deals as well.

I love searching for cruises and book through the casino, but I search by ports then dates too. I will be on Harmony b2b 12/1-12/15 and we miss each other by a day at Costa Maya! One of these days we will sink up. That room on Serenade looks awesome and I can’t wait to see your video about it. I also look at the price difference between guarantee and I pick and that $3 price difference was crazy! I am on Grandeur right now and it is small but old school. Thanks for sharing.

This was an amazing adventure and a bit of a surprise since we had done a cave tubing adventure there in 2018. This Dark Night Cave Hiking and Tubing excursion was better in many ways since it was longer more interesting hike along with the cave tubing finish. Our guide also touched upon so much more from the history of the people, the fauna and geological features. Totally recommend it! I was on Sept 2nd also, had a boardwalk cabin and loved it. How was your cabin, any noise from the Music Hall?

You could save more room by depotting make up into small containers. I use an eye compact case from DT. I wash the powder shadow out and add my makeup. Highlight, blush, bronzer, lipstick. All in one small pallet. large zip lock bag and laundry soap sheets makes it easy to wash out clothes and decrease the amout you have to pack. Cheers

I have so many comments about this video. It's one of my favorites, thus far. Great job filming while Marshall was driving, the archway type thing going to the beach was very pretty, the raccoons were awesome, and if I was to go up and down 133 steps I'd still be there (please no filming! LOL ) Quotes that I'm still laughing about: "If you're looking for a smooth road to a lovely beach..this is NOT it and it used to be a Hooters..now it's just a hoot! 😂

We've done one crossing on a maiden cruise of a very plush ship. We had a total of nine sea days when a pilot's strike stopped us from visiting Maderia. Following this we had three storms of ever-increasing severity, never again. No shows as the weather was too severe, swimming pools drained, nearly impossible to walk outside, and the noise so loud at night my Apple watch giving me alerts. To think we paid to do this...

LOVED this video. I have to agree that the shows on Utopia were some of the best. We also watched the Aqua show from deck 7 in front of the rock climbing wall and was the best location to see everything (along with comfy chairs). I’ve been following Jordan Bauth (an ice skater on Utopia) since 2021 and met up with her after a show. The ice team does have more skaters than usual. They spent a month in California learning the show before heading to France to board the ship. They are on until mid December. She is the skater in the gummy bear costume. You should watch her RUclips videos and she shows how she presets all the costumes. Our coverband was Journey and we were so excited for them but to be honest they weren’t that great and about 1/2 the audience left.

You should really carry all your prescription meds in their original packaging and have a copy of the prescription, too. If you are stopped by customs and all your pills are a mishmash it can take hours for them to determine what they are. By definition your prescription meds are controlled substances and you might have to prove you have them legitimately. Also, if you need to communicate with someone what meds you have for whatever reason it’s easier if the pills and dosage is written out on the original bottle. I’ve been stopped and had my pills questioned in Austria and Mexico and with the proof of what they were it was a quick process.

I would be careful about packing camouflage clothing because it is illegal for non-military personnel to wear In Caribbean countries.

Always fun to watch the full - show items and then how everything fits in the suitcase! Nice that you have all the cubes, and packing bags etc. I had to laugh when you said you overpack as I thought yes indeed. I have gotten better at this as I can’t deal with heavy suitcases or even carry ons 😂 and usually flying in also. Packing cubes are definitely a must especially for cruises. What purse/backpack do you use for your day excursions? I didn’t see it, hubby and I try to just have one that he can carry

This is why you have cruise insurance. The cruiseline is not responsible for the delay. This was caused by an act of God, not RC. Technically, they aren't required to give any compensation (other than any port fees paid for missed ports). Cruisers should be greatful any onboard credit or other concessions.

It is so much easier if you're driving to the port. We have to fly to all our departure ports. 😢

Sorry for your delay, but hopefully all will go as planned for tomorrow. Also, it i s great that if you don’t use the OBC it will go back to your credit card, as that is not always the case. Personally, I’d want to miss Costa Maya, but Marshall’s observations of Cozumel sounds the most logical!
