This was sweet I always love to hear what is going on In the other people in this programs lives a d how God has changed them for the better !thank u for sharing
Love you Dustin you are doing amazing
we all have or regrets
You have been my brother since you came into our family and became my nephews father without hesitation! You know the sound of my Grandfather, Father, and brothers voice (and you know they are cheering us on in heaven)!!!! We are so proud watching you become the man that God has called you to be!!!! The Lord Jesus is using you in a mighty way to reach into that darkness of addiction and lead others to His light!!!!! You got this!!!!!!
Loved your honesty.
I was present for so much of this, and I would like to say Dustin that I have never been more proud of you. Keep up the good work, and you'll do great things. Love you brother
We have seen tremedous change in Dustin as well
I don't think I've ever seen him happier, and I've known him close to ten years now. Overall, good guy, great father, great brother. As far as I'm concerned, even though we aren't related 🤣love you, Dustin, keep focused, and you'll do great things ❤️
They look like they should be on TV
well, they are on mine!!!! lol
Man if you gotta you gotta.
This is a much needed topic
we love you Dustin
I told my mom…. That’s real accountability
That’s hilarious 🤣
My balance isn’t that good😂😂😂
Be kind. Everybody has problems
Depression is hard
It's so good that more people are talking about mental health. 35 years I've been speaking out to break the stigma .back in the 90s, early 2 thousands, it was a very lonley frightening place.still a very long way to go .
@@garrieleepeck8753 thank you for your comment and insight. Keep fighting!
Some Jesus doesn't hurt !
@@markkrathbun3415 we agree completely. Justin has given his life to Jesus and is very involved in outreach at his church
@micsteethanklemonitor amen brother couldn't have did it without him. Tried 40 years to get some sobriety. Was a really good drunkifyou wanna call it that 5 dwis lost practically everything and then found teen challenge of ny ❤️🩹❣️
Shows strength to ask for help in my opinion
Wonderful job you two!!! Great job to my husband ❤
❤ sooo honest and sincere
Anger is a whole other thing
Alcohol sucks
yes it does Karl
I dont think these guys are discussing using mainly alcohol...
😊
That’s right Amanda!
I bet you did have your bottom snatched out from you in prison
Sometimes we just get comfortable in our misery
That’s the way it works sometimes
I had a buddy trying to withdraw from heroin and went to a methadone clinic and got strung out on methadone when he left the heroin alone! To me in my opinion you're just trading one Vice for another!
The only substance withdrawals are going to hurt you is alcohol that's the only substance you can die from withdrawals of. No other drug is going to hurt you from withdrawals you might feel sick and throw up but it's not going to physically hurt you
I been having using dreams ...it sucks when your clean and the dreams your having are you getting to it you wake up and like awwwwe man I got parole 😮 but it's like God shakes me a little and says that's not you anymore it was just a night mare the realisticness of it is out this world but Jesus knows our hearts and knows our future.... Celebrate Recovery at Cleburne County Verdon's Chapel Baptist Church Heflin Al Mondays at 6p.m. Central Time Love this podcast keep it up!!!!
@@JasonMoore-w1m thank you for your insight. Let us know if we can ever help your CR
@micsteethanklemonitor well on February the 10th Blake Spradlin is coming to give his testimony but I definitely would love the about outs for our CR and I have sent a guy yalls way due to his location near hogansville but I will appreciate and graciously accept anything like your testimony at our CR or anything really we just started so anything we can do to get more people to come and allow themself to be healed is an awesome way to get them to Jesus
@@JasonMoore-w1m 706-957-6258 is my number give me a call and we will see how we can be an asset. text me first
A lot of people don’t know that using dreams is a part of it!!
Let go and let God!!
Using dreams are tough
Yes sir
Keep moving forward!
Thank god for 2nd and 3 rd chances and that he loves us so much ❤
Making Jesus a priority is the start of the transformation
That’s right. Jesus loves you
If you know someone out there who is suffering from depression or drug abuse and you know they're going to buy drugs or wanting to go buy drugs, you should try to talk them out of it and possibly have a come to Jesus talk with them because if you don't the next time you talk to them you may be looking down at them in a casket!! And we get so tied up in the things we're doing ourselves and we don't necessarily think of what might be happening to someone else at the moment so if someone calls you or texts you don't ignore them because they may be reaching out for help and when you don't answer their call or send it to voicemail that could be the last straw for them! You may be the one person they felt like they could talk to and then you don't answer the phone so then they could start feeling hopeless and do something irrational!! So always take time for others if you can life is too short!! And if you do give someone your time be honest with them and don't lie to them! Because a man is only as good as his word and if his word is no good he's no good! And if you know someone who needs help in any way and you offer help and they accept your help don't throw it back up in their face later on!! Because you could make them stop trying to reach out to someone for help!! Because when you do that to people they start having trust issues because people have lying issues!! Just always treat someone the way you want to be treated!! And if you treat them like they're not worthy or you lie to them don't look at them like they have three heads when they do the same thing to you!!
A small circle is the most important
Brutal honesty is so important in a friendship
Would really like a deeper discussion on mental health issues facing people in addiction/recovery.
Justin I'm proud of you brother!! You've overcome a lot and your forgiveness for others is inspirational! I want to thank you for the things you've done for me and I want you to know that I'm proud to call you my friend!! You keep up the good work brother. I love you man!!
