i did all of them in 45 minutes, good ones also, i found a way easier way to solve and express the result of the 25th one: you take tan(x/2)=u, which gives the equivalent result of tan(x/2)+ln(tan²(x/2)+1)+C, way easier than the one showed

After doing the u-substitution, you can definitely use trig sub. I used the shortcut that the integral of 1/(a^2+u^2) du = (1/a)arctan(u/a) + C, but this formula can be derived using trig sub!

About 10-20 passed the course and I managed to barely pass with exactly a 70 percent. And I was preparing for the final a month in advanced studying no less than 4 hours a day for it.

for question 4, i got the exact same answer, but instead of cos(x), I got sin(x). I checked with a integral calculator and it also gave me sin(x). I assume that both of these answers would work on an exam?

Hmm, I'm not sure. I would need to see your work to determine.

Take derivative to check if your answer is valid. The ln|cos x| can't turn into ln|sin x|, but the replacement in the other term will only be off by a constant and hence is valid.

It comes from multiplying the 2 denominators together (x*x) and then distributing in the 1/2 into the brackets. Notice that the brackets disappear from the line above it.
