@@knobbyhobby2634 we did, I will say these trails were clearly marked, I knew where we were at all times on the map. And the trails remained me a little of the Hatfield and McCoy trails, only on a smaller scale.

True, but they are supposed to have a single track section. I was not able to do that section when I was there, but plan to, to see if they are any good.

LOL! Not long, but it's the middle of summer. Every time I race I get cottonmouth, I assume the other racers do as well.

Actually CAW does have a section for single track. I did not get to it that visit, but plan to check it out. I'll check out Enoree, SC. I loved Brushy Mountain.

I was going to ask," where can you ride in the south with decent single track ?" I don't want to pay to ride wide open dirt roads. Use to have some decent stuff at Durhamtown plantation but it's pretty much all side by side trails now I ve heard.

Trust me I know it was too slow (and painful). But it was so muddy and I've never raced before. I was just trying to stay upright! I'd say that 500 of yours screams!

Yeah a couple of the bikes were trail bikes, the KTM and my bike were not being ridden hard at all.

Cardo Bold Talk - It's great. It will lose signal if you're too far apart, but will seamlessly pick back up where you back in range.

They call that a trail ? Thats bigger and wider than the public dirt roads where I live. I could drive my pickup truck around on those.

CAW is one of the worst places to ride if you ride a bike, it's only good for atv/sxs don't waste your money, go to enoree or brushy mountain

Thanks! I video before this one shows my practice run and it dry. There was a torrential downpour for about 2 hours before the race.

It really was. Just roughly 2 hours before it was perfect. My practice lap was dry and the track was really good. Than the rain. All I tried to do was stay upright!

Thanks. Not sure about the mileage, but you can probably spend a whole day or two riding. We were only on the easy trails (Kawasaki Kevin is just getting back into riding and healing from a broken back). It's a great place to ride, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks so much! Off of Service Road 17 to the right. You'll see at the start of this video. Kawasaki Kevin and I missed but was able get onto it later. I loved the place too and hope to bring more content about it later this year. Is there any riding places around High Point, NC?

@@knobbyhobby2634 Around my area in High Point the closest would be AAA farms but it has been ruined by the side by side craze. Carolina is where it’s at as it is 2 hours from me.

@@23MikeJ22 Yeah the side by side's have ruined a lot of riding places in my area as well. I think you're right about Carolina though. I hope to get more content of it this year. Hey, you should also check out Brushy Mountain in N.C. I have a couple of videos of it and it is along the same lines as Carolina!

Brushy mtn is nothing like CAW not even close , Brushy mtn 100 times better and cost less

Yes, one full day and a tank of gas. I don't remember having to get into my reserve either. Round trip I think was roughly 30-35 miles.

I sit and try to identify every section too, after so many years riding down there it’s hard not too. We’d wheelie past the graveyard towards NS Ville. This guys scared of that bike, seat riding in 2nd 😂

It was actually in April of this year. I was having problems with my bike, and she had not ridden in a couple of years, so we did not do any other trails than the easy ones. I have ridden other trails in that area. I think you will like it. It is very well marked and groomed from what I can tell. Sure how far you are traveling, but they have nice cabins (look new) there as well. If you do like the trails there they also have a new location called Cabwaylingo. I hope to check it out soon. Through the week you would probably be ok but I would not try it on the weekends

I agree with Kyle Tyson, you may get by during the week, but the weekend would be sketchy. If you are busted with no tag and no permit I believe its a fine upwards of $300.00. That's what I have heard I do not know for certain.

Yeah, he has the fundamentals down, but hasn't rode dirt in about 30 years. A little practice and he'll be doing just fine.
