"New Age Mantra" is a musical project that was born on the Big island of Hawaii .Yana Garden and Mike Auburn are soul partners in life and on stage. They are very passionate about creating music that inspires, heals and uplifts the soul. They play authentic ancient and modern musical instruments to create unique high vibrational soundscapes combined with the ancient Sanskrit and Sufi texts as well as their own original lyrics.
Mantras themselves are sounds and vibrations that invoke spiritual healing powers, release divine cosmic energy and elevate the self into a higher state of consciousness.
Mantras are sound medicine: healing sound formulas which are chanted as a way of experiencing ecstasy, silence, healing and awakening.
‘Man’ (mind) and ’Tra’ (projection). So, Mantra -as explained in Naad Yoga or Yoga of the Primal Sound- is a technology to project and ‘dome’ the mind and its hyperactivity.
