There were also the incidents of deliberate murder of PoW's in combat by Germans, 12th SS on Canadians and by the Gestapo, on captured SAS soldiers in line with Hitler's commando order. A rather odd narrative. The visuals, taken from German newsreels, have nothing to do with the subject! I could not spot any French soldiers let alone French Colonials. Many French Colonials fought for Vichy France against the allies (that's another sad story). to be fair this subject would need a 1 hr doco. at least to do it justice.
