Freedom is also my favorite faction. If there was faction war in the game i would instantly join them and capture the entire zone :D Fun fact: Its the only faction you were able to join in the original vanilla Shadow of Chernobyl game. The developers originally planned a faction system, but then scrapped it, except for one specific path of quests for Freedom.

Where did you find the code, I've been hunting for it for ages. Found a key on the floor above but it just opened a door to a building which had a controller mutant in it, but no code 😢

Oh yeah, I remember finding this door but never the code. Good to know for my second playthrough. There also is a modded MK 1 EMR with an ACOG Scope on one of the watchtowers.

Just found my first one in the campaign and yeah I died like 6 times before I just put on my best artifact, took psi blockers and rushed his ass. Basically the opposite strategy I had for those creepy little dwarf fuckers.

i personaly went for the diamond EXO (the one monolith has) you can find in the lab next to yaniv station xD you kinda have to find something (a crate, barrel ) to jump on top of the lab cause you are not suppose to get it until later in the main quest haha i found this Armor in my first playthrough and went back for it on the second xD here i am fresh out of the main land exploring the zone with EXO hahah a

When you get the "Drowned" gun, can you take the GP-25 off of it and just give the rifle back to its previous owner? And if you can do that, does the guy care? In the old S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games (unmodded), NPCs don't use grenade launchers. In some mods, they do. And if they're enemies, they're the deadliest. 3:15 Yes, I am. 3:47 Can you take the scope off?

I said more or less what you did about them in my most recent playthrough vid of the original Stalker, Freedom are just a vibe. They give ZERO shits, and are amazingly chill about a surprising amount of things. Even one of the first dudes you talk to while entering the base was like, "Hey if you cause problems we sent the last guy out naked into a pack of mutants, so don't do crime okay? We good? Cool! Welcome to the base!" 😂 I'm a Loner by design, but I love these guys.

Since the first game Shaod of Chernobyl, the Freedom faction is the most favorit and fun faction in STALKER. an chaotic anarchistic funny stoned and drunk faction. There is an Stalker based Airsoft LARP event in germany, with some of the factions, and Freedom is one of them. And since 6 years now, I was always at that event always as a Freedom Stalker

Can you join freedom? I just got the question to go to sircca and I can only get 1 side mission from them so far.

Wanna try some Zone Sportsmanship Challenges? Can you get bigger mags for the Vintorez? Like with an upgrade? IRL, that thing can use 10-, 20-, or 30-round mags, so there's really no reason for skimpy 10-rounders to exist in-game. If it's for "balance," then that principle is being applied awfully subjectively. Being of a fastidious Duty-like temperament, I don't dig that one bit. If I was a quartermaster of any faction, I'd only supply the best. That means no 10-round mags. Bare minimum capacity of 20 rounds for 9x39 rifles. 2:30 That's where I start to question their ideals. How truly dedicated are they to the ideal of "freedom" if they turn a blind eye to social darwinism (a philosophy attributed to Herbert Spencer, not Charles Darwin)? 4:18 Forester. Note: If you're a friend of Duty, like an ecologist, then the warrant officer at the Garbage checkpoint will let you pass without demanding a toll. If he does ask for a toll (like if you're a loner, and you want to go to Rostok before Agroprom), it's not much. 7:04 Duty might have a problem with weed, but they wouldn't have any problem at all with hunting mutants. They send their own teams to do that (whether or not they're as good at it as they claim to be another matter), and they pay loners and zoners to do that.

I kinda wish they brought duty and freedom together to fight the ward. Like freedom could handle all the logistical stuff and duty could be the military arm of the faction. I mean it wouldn't be the first time in history where to opposing ideologies come together to stop a greater evil. 🤷‍♂ But if I had to choose I'm with Duty, I love their military hard charging attitude.
