Same problem for 6 months. New pump from vw, new ecu wire, new fused live, new ground, new plug wtf? 🤷🏻
did you manage to resolve the problem if so how?
@@IlkerBaytemurhonestly no. I had a garage replace the pump with a genuine pierburg item. Then I wired a brand new ecu wire from ecu to pump, and a fresh live and ground, and I still have the same error. The pump works, and I am sick of it, so I am now looking to just have the DTC mapped out in the ecu. If your pump is working look for a garage that can map out the DTC.
Still fighting with this issue, I’ve tried two new control wires, seperate power feeds, new grounds. I also removed and checked ECU pin and wire for fit and continuity and it was fine. Now appearing combined with a reference voltage open circuit error. I tried connecting the control wire for heater support pump to another pump (charge cooler) and got the same error. So does not seem like a defective replacement pump. Disconnected other pumps and they specific open circuit for the charge cooler and egr cooler pump. Disconnect heater pump and no open circuit just a supply voltage error. Honestly thinking of just finding a place to code out this stupid DTC as the pump is working perfectly from live data logging…
