Hey everyone welcome aboard!
This channel mainly focuses on transit and elevator videos around the DC metro and on some occasions, in other cities and states.
As the name stands for:
Dc = most transit will be from the DC area
4000 = My favorite series in the metro (now retired)
Wmata = Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority

This railcar is being replaced by the 8000 Series
Cool video! It’s always fun catching one of these either in real life or on the destination boards on the platforms. Weirdest one I’ve seen was an OR towards New Carrollton on the southbound track at Pentagon City!

You know, why did they get rid of the 4000-series so early? They barely survived longer than the 5000-series.
It was because of poor reliability issues. Yet they still remain in my blood because of their distinct westinghouse chopper and frankly smooth ride.

Baseball Train? I never knew that would be a thing! I've heard about the money trains, though!
These trains run periodically from gallery place to anacostia for nationals home games before turning back to mt vernon square.
They also go in service at Navy Yard to Mt. Vernon

@@mrcalc-xc5ke 98B in Warsaw is more of an R142. Wmata's version of Alstom is slightly more distinct between R160 and Warsaw. Closest BVE sounding train would be R193

well... holds aren't really a major problem on metro... Most last between 1-2 minutes so no 1 star for me at least.
I genuinely couldn't tell if this was real-life of CGI until about a minute in.

It was the camera and I decided to make a lofi-ish look out of it during the color grade. I didn't use an iPhone. It was a sony fx6 cinema camera
