Ended up with a 1:29:17 but for some reason the Catalyst satellite aquisition failed and didnt start. Advanced run group with MoE.

Nice lap! What car was this in, an what is that grinding sound at 1.08 of the video?
2019 VW GTI. Grinding noise is the rear diffuser vibrating due to contact with the muffler.

Have you ever seen a 45 rpm idler wheel for these machines? I recently picked up a Rek-o-kut Challenger lathe which looks nearly identical to your Imperial, I’d bet that they use the same idler wheels. I’ve heard that 45 rpm idler wheels exist for these machines, but I haven’t yet been able to find one. Thanks for the video!
They do exist. This machine had both 33 and 78 speeds. I think the 45 wheel is part number TR-103.
@@bryanbarger Wow, yep, I did some Googling and according the people in the lathetrolls forum, you’re correct, it’s part number tr-103. That may come in handy as I search for one, thanks! Do you still have the lathe in this video?
@@bryanbarger I’ve been searching for that 45 rpm idler wheel with absolutely no luck. I’ve been thinking about fabricating one myself, but I need to find someone who: a. owns one of these idler wheels, and b. is willing to measure it and send me the dimensions. Some photos would probably be a huge help as well. Is there any chance that you’d be able and willing to assist me in this endeavor?
Crappy Russian copies GEC KT 66S will make the amp sound right.... And they last forever... Those Russian things r v unreliable as well as sounding like transistors... But what does it matter playing anti Establishment Taylor Swift or Die Straits

About how many laps? You guys just keep going?
Do you heel/toe or just let the clutch out and let the car jolt a bit?
I always try to blip before letting out. In some cases where i dont have the time for a blip ill actually clutch brake. With the stock pedal arraignment, heel/toe is virtually impossible. I need a throttle pedal extension.
What modifications have you done? Wow first time seeing a gti doing 1:35. This inspires me.
IS38, and the normal bolt ons. intake, exhaust, etc. Running 93
@@bryanbarger nice, how much hp? And suspension setup? Looking at coilovers right now and even strut bars (if they help)
@@Dansstang roughly 380. Bilstien Clubsport coilevers, eurocode bars, alum subframe and verkline front arms. I believe i couldve been much quicker here. Was my first time on this course and was wet in the am. Hoping to get under 1:30 next time there

This was upper intermediate with motorsports enthusiasts. The white 911 and black cayman gts in front of me are buddies of mine i was there with.

The Quad !II has adjustable mains input to cater for this.

@@bryanbarger Thanks! I'm going to make a few adjustments to get better low-speed traction up front and lower the wing. It came with that tall mount, but I found out it is designed to perform better when lower.

Speakers are Altec Valencias 846 cabinets with 418-8Z LF and altec 288-8G drivers with 1005B horns
