What did you do to switch it to 4s ? Swap the esc ? Or both ESC and motor ?

what value are you using for your baf planes? i have a baf apprentice stoll, 8 had that alarm i moved the ranges to something i read in the internet and when flying the plane got lock in a right turn permanently. and it end up in a tree. but i think it was because i moved the ranges of rf....i think receiver got into lost signal model . i hope you can comment. I have the same plane and I don't like its flight characteristics. It definitely tip stalls very easily to the right.

I've done everything u mentioned it did the 2 flicks on the surfaces to get safe allocated a switch did stickers to centre but I'm still in as3x any ideas

On road is a blast and I too moved and have not raced on road in 20+ years! Looks like a fun track if it's still there. I wish they would build a track out here for I still have a couple old on road cars.

Cool but the TopRc gliders seem to have I'll tendencies, stalls, snaps and roll rates that seem faster at slow speeds and very slow rolls at high speeds... I think it's because of the weight not really sure. I have the lightning 1500 and it really doesn't do anything well. Lol! Would you recommend this plane? Thanks!

In a tight fast loop does this plane stall the wing and snap when going over the top of a loop? I have the lightning and it has terrible tendencies to snap with too much elevator...

Its an awesome plane, but the ground handling is just horrible. I tried to install a runway gyro but couldnt get it configured. I finally filtered mine thru a ponderosa pine on an aborted landing, lol plane went in one side and foam confetti came out the other

The biggest problem, with that airplane, is that it's made out of EPS, and that makes it unnecessarily fragile. Horizon Hobby makes all of their UMX planes out of EPS. Why, because they want you to break the plane and either come back and buy parts or buy a new plane. It's a very successful marketing strategy for them. Horizon Hobby will tell you they use EPS because it's lighter than EPO or EPP. To that, I call BS. There are numerous other RC plane companies making their planes out of EPP, the best and most durable foam, and they're not heavy. Look at the Arrows Pioneer and the Rage RC Micro Warbirds, to name a few. They're light and very durable, because EPP. HH charges a premium price for their planes, and they should use the premium foam, EPP. Thanks for the content and boycott EPS.

Just a few more options while you're making changes to your Wonderful RV-7.

Great video. I first started mine out on the 4s, but then moved to the 3s 2200. Still plenty of power, and comes slower on landings. Also HAD to swap out those horrible eflite rock wheels for some slim, no bounce Du-Bro wheels. So much better. Now it lands like a dream, and no longer sound like a metal shopping cart full of empty aluminum cans. My RV-7 is one of my favorite airplanes.

Binded my AR631(BNF) to TX16s and went to maiden flight and when i was doing preeflight check radio started with RSSI warnings. I went 200m away from my plane and wife said all surfaces work fine.

I wonder, did you leave control rods on inner holes, or did you move them to outer holes for more throw.
