Good video mate id be keen to do a trip with you in sandysuzie_ bit of advice from my experience driving the jimny is that you got to keep it moving, stopping and teetering will increase your chances or rolling same as driving through stuff. Once you stop you are asking a lot from the car to keep going through. keep it up!
Always open to zook trips! And yeah definitely right with that, sometimes easier said than done when things get sketchy though 😆 thank you!
Loving the content guys, awesome to see you both giving it a crack 👍 If I may, what make and model awning do you have and how do you find it ( quality, ease of use ) Again keep up with the great work
Thank you for the kind words! It’s a nomad 270 awning by caos gear. It’s really pretty solid for a budget option, easy to set up and strong enough material that it should last a good while. Probably not many better options for the same price
@@NathsJimny thanks for the reply mate, I'll have a squizz and see if we have them in NZ
Great clip folks and great to see young people getting out and enjoying our beautiful country. One thing, around that 11:45 mark, the Suzuki traction control, AllGrip, does take a few seconds to fully activate so when Chelsea was trying to climb up those wombat holes, if she had kept the power on for a little longer, the AllGrip would’ve activated essentially acting almost like a traditional diff lock and it would walk up there 😉👍 Being in low range helps too. They’re a very capable little car off the showroom floor. Well done to you both, new subscriber and looking forward to future videos. 👍👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate the comment and advice. glad you enjoyed the video
Hey bro can you tell me what roads etc you went down to get here plz cheers
hey bro whats your rims and tyre setup?
Hey mate the rims are 15x7 with 235/75/15 falken wildpeak tyres
@@NathsJimny thanks, does the rim have offset? im trying to figure out if it worth buying -6 offset to wider track by a little bit
@@exceso2000 these ones don’t they’re just at 0
Awesome video Nathan and Chelsea really enjoyed it. Definitely one of the best videos you both have posted up for awhile. That camping spot the one with the spot you both tried to have a quick dip in it definitely would be amazing in the summer time but not so fun in the freezing temperatures we are having in the winter. And some definitely some beautiful scenery is well. I’m so looking forward to seeing you both on your next adventure together 😊
Thank you glad you enjoyed it! Was definitely very cold but super refreshing
wow amazing guys beautiful scenery well done great video can't wait for next adventure love you both and the jimmy
Hey mate nice camp spot! Where abouts is it ?
It’s in the Watagans state forest in nsw, we took a track called bowman’s road and then found this spot down a little side track closer to the cliffs edge
Hi there Which track are you following (minute 5) thanks
Bowman’s road i believe it was called!
@@NathsJimny thanks mate
where is that cliff spot
Nice vid we did this last week in very different cars (300 and prado). Lol we found the high walls towards the end tough to avoid damage but all else was ok but definitely technical. We did similar at the end we took the trail left at the burnt out car to get out but after spending 30 mins track building where you had decided to backtrack from. Great track and good to see someone else tackling it recently
Solid effort! Definitely cool to know how other rigs go on these tough bits. We were tempted to try the same with the track building but figured it was getting a bit late already 😂 thanks for the comment!
Very cool little short video Nathan looks like you’re Girl friend has got her Jimny back on the road 😊
Hw are you?. Love it!good content- Nathsjimny! :))
It's great that you have a habit of wearing a seat belt. But I don't think a seat belt is a good idea on rough terrain. Given that there are such elevation changes, I would prefer the option of leaving the car as quickly as possible in case of an emergency. take care of yourself
I will keep this in mind thank you!
If I am not wrong, the ESP was not turned off when crossing the cliff type section crossing. with rocks formation. Thanks
I can’t quite remember now as this was a few months ago but I believe I had it in low range which turns off the traction control! At least that’s what I would do if i did it again now
@@NathsJimnyThat is also valid and true that it does turn ESP off , then Jimny's behavior to me appeared weird when those wheels were vibrating while crossing the section and overall the vehicle under stress 🙂. Ofcourse I am a new user so my notion may be completely wrong.
@@ExploreWithSandeepGJimnies have brake assisted lsd in low range. Basically low range traction control. The car will try and brake the wheel spinning in the air to give drive to the wheel on the ground. Much better than a completely unlocked vehicle.
Hi Nath, what's tire on your Jimny? Brand and model? And dimensions?
Hey mate, I’ve got the falken wildpeak at3w, at 235/75/15 with a 60mm lift as well!
Awesome short video Nathan can we please have a longer version next time 😊
Yes this was just some clips from a few past adventures! More long videos coming soon 😁
Cool adventure :-) No lockers? Guy at 8:05 does something pretty sketchy :-o
No lockers yet, hoping to get some eventually though! yeah there was definitely some sketchy stuff 😬
Should have done a track side locker install
📝 noted I’ll get onto that next time 😂
Thanks Nathan for sharing one awesome video I needed something to put a smile on my face. I’m here laying in bed with Covid and sick as a dog. I’m glad someone is putting out some Jimny content on a regular basis. That track looked very tuff unfortunately if there’s no big trees you have to winch off what you have there. So looking forward to seeing you and your G Friend in the next video and hopefully she is driving her car is well 😊
Thanks again Jeremy! Really appreciate the support and hope you feel better soon 😊 covid really took me out when I had it. Yes we’re hoping her cracked windscreen is replaced and she can join us in her rig again soon!
Great video 👍🏻 best wishes from the U.K 🇬🇧
Thanks mate! 👍
did you change the tires or are they from fabric?
yeah i have upgraded them! ive got the falken wildpeak at3w's at 235/75/15
@@NathsJimny nice
One of the best Jimny video I ever seen! Both vehicles look nice and really good match with you guys! Thanks for sharing. -Another Jimny owner from New Zealand.
That’s awesome, I’m glad you enjoyed it so much 😁 thanks for the comment, made us both smile!
Thank you Nathan for sharing one awesome video really enjoyed it mate . It’s funny your mate avoided the wombat holes on the first part of the track. That’s always fun driving over those . You are in Victoria ain’t you if you was up in QLD there is always plenty of tracks to do like of Glass House mountains and including all of the 4 w D parks is well. So looking forward to seeing you and your Girl friend on the next adventure
Thanks Jeremy! His leaf spring hangers weren’t giving him the clearance needed in some of the holes 😆 I’m NSW based and would love to get up to the glasshouse someday! Appreciate the support
Nice one, looked like good fun
Thank you! It was a lot of fun, wish we were staying for longer
nice one where was it
Thanks! This is a somewhat down track in the Watagan state forest of nsw, believe it’s called Bowman’s Road
Great going guys!!!
Great video mate keen to see more🙏🙏
Thanks mate!
