Brother PR680w super slo mo footage experiment
I got bored one evening and decided to try and figure out how the automatic threader works on the embroidery machine. I found out my new phone has a super slo mo function which came in handy for this and I think I got it figured out! Then I got even more bored at home and decided to incporporate earlier footage with my new slo mo footage and see if I could make a decent video. This is the result.

      Take the needle out of the machine. Have had my brother PE 800 for about six months and I have had to replace the needle threader twice once when I first got it before I even knew how to thread it and then again about three weeks ago.

      Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest as this is more of a training video for MakeSpace members than advertising or reviewing the machine for sales. I'd suggest you start by looking around for Brother stockists wherever you are. For the UK, you could start here: www.brother.co.uk/where-to-buy Or if you're in or near Cambridge UK, you could always become a MakeSpace member and then use ours! :)

    hello, Great video, ive just bought one for these, but im not getting 90 x 80 mm sewing area only 50 x 50 mm there is a setting on the machine that can be reset but its not working for me .. with the machine off the start button and the needle threading button is held, this takes the machine into a another menu to enable the settings to be adjusted but it doesn't respond .. getting in touch with brother is a night mare, so I thought hopefully you could help .. Excellent video on the Warco GH1330. However I doubt there are many people with this lathe who need to be shown what the various parts are called and how to use them. Beginners would almost certainly not be spending £4,650. A video using perhaps, the Warco WM180 or similar, would be of far more use.

    • @mikehindley3

      I can't believe I'm replying to a 2-year-old comment, but the video is specifically designed for members of a particular club (makespace in Cambridge, UK). They watch the video before completing an induction on the lathe. So they need to know how to use that exact lathe.

    • @Jestey6
      @Jestey6 9 месяцев назад

      @@mikehindley3Hi Mike. Thanks for replying to my comment. Had you mentioned the purpose of the video, in the video. RUclips viewers would have been able to take the purpose into account. As it was, I consider it to be reasonably for a viewer to assume the video was aimed at ‘any’ member of the public, perhaps one who owned the lathe or was contemplating purchase. As the video progressed, there was nothing to suggest that its intended purpose was specifically to ‘familiarise’ members of your club, with the GH1330. lathe. I have a number of Warco ‘metal’ machines, but nothing as expensive as the GH1330 (currently £6,216). As such it falls within the industrial category, and any professional user would be aware of the part names. I hope you can now see why I commented. Once you are aware of the intended purpose, the video,is excellent, however putting it on RUclips is, to say the least, questionable. I’ve had a look at your website, and your ‘club’ is excellent. Cheers Noel
