It would be easier to remove the gutter and slip it up and under the gutter apron.
Maybe for you. I couldn’t get it all off and back up it’s like 75’ of gutter. It was installed shady, I guess so I did the best I could. Thanks for commenting

There's no right way to do it, putting gutters that get full of water behind your waterproofing (drip edge) is dumb af, but if you don't it rots your fascia. It's wrong no matter how you do it.

You might be able to my gaps were all different sizes. It was wavy some gaps were bigger. It would probably work. You could try some spots and see.

Sorry, I took aluminum, Like you would wrap a window or door with on the outside. I used scrap pieces. I put them under the drip edge and over the gutters. Some I had to screw in place. I overlapped the pieces so as to have no gaps. Before I did it the water would run down the roof and behind the gutter. The material used was all wavy up against the facia board so water would always run behind gutter and not in gutter. So I put aluminum up. If you need more explanation I can get you more thanks
