If a clamshell was used to vice clamp the upper receiver without an internal support rod it could be a deformed upper receiver. The sound it makes may be attributed to a blem finish on the inside of the receiver.

I have the same setup but im shooting t federal 147 and some Winchester lawman 147. Gun won’t eject spent round. Already cleaned and lubed gun but still not working properly

Appreciate the video. Short and sweet. Good job. I will say though, when making a comparison video, shooting steel is counterproductive and a waste of ammo. We're specifically listening for sound performance here. Pinging steel just makes it difficult to do by covering up things like FRP. Almost ruins the whole point of the video IMO.

Today I changed the oli in my cvpi and was a little short on oil. I got a gallon and around a quart in it. So, about five quarts roughly. When I check the dip stick the level was at the lower dot and filled it. I figure it would be fine to run around a bit and get the oil I prefer on the way home. Well, randomly it started doing that clacking from the drinker's side, under the valve cover. I turned it off and checked the oil and it still was showing on the stick but not to the lower hole. I wasn't on level ground though. I walked to a store and bought a quart and put it in. Oil level was a skosh above being in the center of the hash marks. I started it up and it continued to make the clacking. I had to get it home so was limping it and not too long after, the noise went away. This mystifies me and I can find nothing about it online. Being one quart low shouldn't hurt an engine and I wasn't getting on it. When I opened the filler hole for the oil, oil vapor and maybe a touch of smoke was wafting out. I was never on any sort of incline that would starve the ol girl out. I'm stumped. When my alternator went earlier this year I got the spark knock which freaked me out, it went away of course and I understand why it did. This noise I don't though. I can't be fortunate enough to have two bad engine sounds like that just go away. Anyway long story longer, if anyone has a clue I'd appreciate solving this mystery. If this gets seen, video is years old at this point.

I'm glad I came across this comparison today. I have the R45 which sounds great. A hair more volume than the R9. Because they're a little chunky for pistols (handguns) & will be used more on my PCC stuff, I was planning to get a true pistol can this week but looking at some of the smaller stuff. Been debating between the JK CCX 9 & this CGS 9SK. I shot the JK last month at the Capitol Armory suppressor shoot & was wowed by the performance of it. Extremely impressive for being so small. My LGS has a 9SK on the shelf though & priced lower than normal because it was left on layaway & never paid off. I figured it's a little more versatile. Hearing it in this demo against the R9 though, it sounds bad. I've seen several reviews complain of it being really loud & this confirmed it. I'll consider it down the road if I get to hear it in a live shoot or unsuppressed vs suppressed maybe. Thanks for the comparison.

Im not a car guru. I have a crown vic year 2000, but it's does the knocking thing when it's cold but stops when im driving. The problem is whenever i idle, especially after warming up, ex.(at a red light). It does the knocking thing again. Should i be worried? Please give me your honest opinion on what you believe the problem could be. Anyone else please help and thanks.

Which T3 are you using? The T3 with QD Flash hider or the T3 with QD muzzle brake.

I have bought all three of the Aero precision suppressors. Waiting for them. Was thinking the Lahar 30K for my 16 inch 300 BO, the 30 for my 8.5 inch 5.56 pistol, and the 30L for my AR-10. Your thoughts?
