I've never understood the love for the sound. Great at idle, but through the revs there's nothing. It sounds like a massive wet fart. Best V8 sound ever is the 427 side oiler. Best flat plane engine sounds are Ferraris.

The problem is that these cars cost a fortune, and understandably the instructors won’t really let you go wild in them like you would like to. I’ve done a driving experience there at Knockhill. I did the legends experience and with that I got a few laps in the Civic Type-R and then 10 laps in a Legends car. The Civic experience was pretty good I got a good bit of foot down but not as much as I’d like! Legends was absolutely fantastic but again I felt the restriction on it although your on your own in it you feel like you aren’t. Legends unlimited would be more worthwhile I’d say. Less power restrictions but of course you have to earn that rightfully so. What I would recommend to anyone reading this comment and is thinking about a Knockhill driving experience go for it! But add in the BMW hot laps if you are looking for a real thrill! I was lucky enough to get 3 time BTCC championship winner Gordon Shedden driving! 👌🏻 See my channel for the video wow that guy can inject some fun into your day!

just received this experience as a christmas gift. absolutely buzzing! everyone says go for the lambo but a gtr is just another demon
If your experience is for one car only, upgrade on the day and add additional cars to your drive, otherwise you may be dissapointed as your first drive is fairly sedate because the instructor is assessing you. If you do what your told, then you will allowed to push on a bit with the next drives. In which case leave your favourite car last to drive, that way you will get a better chance to explore its performance. Oh and make sure to get some passenger hot laps in the Atom. It will alter your definition of quick.
@@St3v136 don't think I can drive anything other than the mclaren 650s they have now after taking it out yesterday round knockhill.. I'd happily do 25 laps in that and only that car My dream car since they released has been a 675lt coupe and honestly the 650s could've been a never meet your hero moment but now I've driven that I'm still buzzing 24hrs later! The things a proper beast I can't get over it!!! Highly rexomment you guve it a try the lad was brilliant and told me trust the car and ended up with a great score 38/40 only losing out because I chickened out and braked early up the crest and sometimes went to the wrong gear🤣

@86f All in all it takes an hour and a half or so. As for actual track time, you get 10 laps in total, 6 being in the Ferrari. I thought it was worth the money, as it's not often you get the chance to take a Ferrari round a track
I really enjoyed it. You get 4 laps in the Seats, then 6 in the Ferrari. As long as you show your safe and competent in the Seats, they will let you go as fast as you want in the Fezza. Enjoy!
