The North Deck - Trinidad and Tobago - Pt. 2
Just twenty five minutes drive from the city of Port of Spain, Trinidad. On the road to Maracas Bay you will find the unique and spectacular North Deck. The deck forms a cantilevered observation platform of some 7,500 sq. ft., fronted by ferns, flowering bushes and extending out from a ridge high over the lush rain forest. This amazing tree canopy eventually makes its way down to the sea and the famous North Coast of Trinidad. A wealth of wildlife can be seen here including many colourful and seldom-encountered birds. The are toucans, trogons, honeycreepers, not to mention the hummingbirds. A truly unrivalled view of the wild and beautiful North Coast and a breath-taking experience.

Absolutely stunning- The flora & fauna , beautiful bird species, the mountains & the beach below, it’s nature at it’s best, right here...never knew this place existed until now. It’s definitely on my list of places to visit now.

Its majical , its floating, its well thought out, its well constructed, its surrounded by nature in so many forms, its views are breath taking, its worth going there to see for yourself, its attractive, its refreshing, and its in Trinidad. Wow .

@sweetnessrenaify Trinidad is the southern most island in the Caribbean chain of islands . If you find Venezuela ( South America ) on the map, Trinidad is just off the north east coast . North east of Trinidad is the island of Tobago and infact Trinidad and Tobago is one nation state made up of the 2 islands .
The north deck is a beautiful hidden treasure.
